[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator and freezer are top notch. A lot of thought went into this LG design. Clean and simple lines, easy to use and it looks great. The only problems are with the icemakers. The main icemaker is in the left door and ice gets jammed in the mechanism. It is easy to clear the jam, but you can run out of ice before you know the drop tube is clogged up. The other problem is with the craft icemaker. I wish they would have left it out. It's a nice idea and would be a really great addition, but it just has never worked right. Waiting on the replacement for it now. I don't think any manufacturer has gotten a craft icemaker to work right. Maybe getting more and more complications on refrigerator freezers is not a good idea. I think this one is an upgrade too far.

This would be a 5 star fridge except for 2 problems. My favorite feature of modern fridges is the water and ice dispenser. My 15 year old fridge was great at this. First: The fridge dispenses warm water. Why??? According to LG "• Only 1-2 cups of water can be held in the reservoir depending on the model. When the cold water is dispensed, warm (tap cold) water comes into the reservoir and is held until future dispensing. • When the dispenser run out of reserved water, it dispenses normal room temperature water from the tap. • For new installations, it can take up to 24 hours to cool the water. After dispensing more water than the tank's capacity the unit can take up to 6 hours to cool the water again." 1-2 cups??? 6 hours to cool the water??? We are not squirrels. There is never cold water. Since everyone else figured how to do it right more than 2 decades ago I'm going to say this is a major design flaw. Tap water the fridge is connected to is colder than the fridge water. The Fridge is literally warming water up. Second: The ice tastes like leftovers in the fridge. The warm pizza flavored ice water makes me bristle at the price I payed for this fridge. P.S. Delivery people dented the door so they sent a new unit 2 weeks later. Both have the same problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased earlier this year. Love the door in door and dual ice. Did have an issue with a fan motor going out, but with the internet connection, LG could tell there was an issue and notified us and repaired free of charge. Great service!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this refrigerator 2 or 3 years ago and was happy with it except the ice maker. It has given us a problem for more than a year now. We purchased 5 years warranty and thank goodness we bought it. From time to time we found puddles of water in the morning from the ice maker and we have compressor replace due to the temperature not producing ice and after the replacement 2 weeks ago , it still not making ice. I would like the ceo of LG to own this refrigerator and May be it’s ok to the ceo but not to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to have a large refrigerator with 2 ice makers. The size is great but the ice makers are crap!! Never has the ice holders been full. I have to reset them all the time for them to make ice and have had both ice makers replaced multiple times in the 2 1/2 years we have had refrigerator. It makes no sense for me to have 2 ice makers and still have to buy ice. Very disappointed in the very small amount of ice this refrigerator puts out. Also LG premium care service plan has covered the MANY service calls but getting appointments scheduled are a royal pain. Currently waiting for a repair appointment, submitted claim over 2 weeks ago, have contacted claim service for an update via online chat service and still do not have an appointment. Very frustrated, the size doesn’t make up for all the issues.

The door in door feature is great and the refrigerated drawer holds everything we like to keep handy without having to open the big doors. The ice makers are the best we have had.

We bought this refrigerator when we renovated our kitchen. It's the largest refrigerator we have ever had. Plenty of room for anything. The top drawer is convertible-can be a freezer or refrigerator. We use ours as refrigerator because we have a chest freezer and don't need extra freezer space. There is a handy feature, measured water dispensed if needed. Also, regular small ice cubes through the door and "craft" ice in the freezer. The craft ice (ice balls) is great for cocktails and always impresses guests. This is a great unit for any size family that needs plenty of refrigerator/freezer space.

I bought this fridge after my 5 yr old Samsung one decided to stop working. This fridge has great space and room for everything. I love having the ice maker on the inside of the door. It is very quiet and works great. I have enjoyed having the half door to grab quick things like milk. I can not say enough good things about this fridge

I bought this thinking "this is the fridge I've waited for". It's been mostly good. We've had a couple of issues like the cooling fan detaching and causing overheating, a broken lower ice maker, and a couple of other annoyances. I would still buy this fridge again, but it hasn't been the rock solid machine I would expect at its price point. This is a very expensive fridge. I can put a large pizza box in it, I do love my craft ice as a avid whiskey/bourbon drinker... but the air filters and water filters should last longer. There are definitely some warm zone issues, especially when there's a lot of heat/humidity going on.
