Only lasts a year buy the warranty

I bought one for my sons household. It broke within a year, but they have a family of five so it got lots of use. I bought one for myself and I am the only user and the motor quit in a year. So if you are going to buy one, make sure to get the warranty, I didn't. But I feel it should have lasted longer than a year.

ISSUES.... NOT ONCE BUT TWICE

I purchased the water dispenser about a week ago and it took us a few days to open it but when we opened it we noticed that the door was broken. Ok not a big deal we will take it back. We took it back and got another one, only to get it home open it up and the door is broken on this one as well. I am very disappointed that is happened not once but twice. We will take this one back and we will not purchase it again.

please read

Just read the previous reviews!! After a year and a half it stopped dispensing cold water. I work on on refrigerated items and found that the thermostat was faulty causing the water to freeze and not dispense. Also while freezing the float stop would stick in the open position causing water to leak on floor. And of course no replacement thermostat to order. Will buy a name brand water cooler next time.

Wish I had one sooner

Been buying from Sams the 45 pack of 16 ounce bottles, now I can get rid of empty water bottles all over the house and won't be hauling the empty bottles to the recycling bin at our remote dump site. Only had it for a couple of weeks just hope it lasts for a long time to come, Yes I would recommend it to friends.

Doesn’t work past a year!

It worked perfectly for the warranty 1 year but after it was too late to replace it stopped working. It freezes and the cold water won’t dispense until you unplug it for hours to thaw out. Whatever this is it’s happening to multiple customers and at this point it should be remedied for free or have a maintenance tutorial for people who have invested in this product.

Stopped working in less than 2 years.

This is the second Primo dispenser we purchased. The first one stopped cooling after 4 years. The second one stopped heating after a year and a half. Now 2 years later, it won't dispense water as the pump has stopped working. Customer Service couldn't explain the heating problem with the flashing heating light. They sent me a .pdf copy of the manual and coupons for water refills. I replied twice to the person who e-mailed me with more information, without a reply from them. Not helpful at all. Of course the warrenty has expired.

STARTED OUT GREAT...DIDN'T END SO WELL

I bought this 3 weeks ago and it worked great for the first 2 weeks, then when I replaced the water bottle it would start to chill and then would flash that the bottle was empty. Then it stopped chilling and no water came out. I just returned it and brought a new one home. Hope we have better luck with this one!

The worst machine and customer service I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. 1st one we purchased broke within 3 months! Sams would not return exchange or refund the purchase. My family wanted to get another one thinking it was just a bad one so we unfortunately purchased another Primo machine and lo and behold it broke again. Water just stops coming out. We looked online for help tried everything they said to do nothing worked so they said it must be frozen. Lucky us... Again even more rude customer service to deal with... needless to say won't purchase another one and certainly won't recommend this product or this company, they don't stand by their products at all.
