I try to eat healthy and I line these beans are non gmo

I bought a large bags of pinto beans and I was dismayed to note that more than half of the 12# of beans were broken into pieces. Not a bad thing if you want to make refried beans but not good if you want to cook and end up with whole beans.

Love this bread but the list of ingredients is so long I’m questioning how healthy it could be Gotten lots thinner and smaller too, yet more expensive.

Seems silly to leave a review on pinto beans, but in case someone is wondering if the purchase is worth it --- We buy this monthly, and I have been very pleased with how clean the beans are. I rarely have to pick out a bad bean, rocks or dirt. I store them in a large rubbermaid bowl.

Poor-quality in the last bag I got from Sam's. We have been buying these beans for years. We like these beans and were of good quality, but not the last bag we got in June 2018. We used to have 1 or 2 strange looking beans in the 4 cups were cook. This last bag - as you can see in the picture have some very questionable beans. Something that looks like could be rot or mold then dried out, like they are very old beans. (Date code of JUN 12 2019M) I will have to look very closely when I think about buying these again. If they look like this last bag - I will stop buying these.

The beans are very clean and a great value

The beans are falling apart and almost white. Once cooked the have no flavor or color.

I he's in quart jars and they are good for 20 years
