Soak overnight, simmer next day for about 3 hours with garlic and onions until water cooks off. Can mash for burritos, etc. Consistency is controlled by how much you mash them.

GREAT price for this size of beans! I halved it so we will be eating 1/2 of them and the other half will go into our Tidy Cats breeze cat litter system. Someone on Amaz~had mentioned that using larger beans like pintos were softer on kitties paws, especially if your cats' suffer from diabetes. While ours do not, thank goodness, I was tired of them still tracking out the litter that goes with the Tidy Cat system. Pinto Beans they cannot track out!!! AND no dust! So for us, this is win-win all the way!!!

I was happy to find this grocery item online after they discontinued it in my local Sam’s Club! These dry beans are triple washed, which saves me time. I love how well they turn out cooking in my crockpot.😍 I cook w them 2x week: Meatless Monday, and a soup or Chili later in week.
