I recently bought a twelve pound bag of dry pinto beans from the Sam’s app. They have not disappointed! Full flavor, especially when cooked with bacon. Definitely no gas shortage here! I highly recommend them, for the the discerning taste buds, especially if you’re old enough that your toot smeller doesn’t work well.

The beans are good quality. I did not find a lot of black ones there or ones that had to be thrown out. They did not taste old either. Good price for the amount of beans that came in the bag.

Pantry staple for beans and ham hocks, pan fried potatoes, and assorted greens, turnip, collards, spinach, kale, etc. Much better value than regular grocery stores. I store them in air tight Mason jars, not in a plastic bag.

These beans are sold as extra large bags. When I fix a pot of beans I fix enough for my son, daughter n law, 2 grandkids, my husband, & myself. We love our beans & cornbread meals.

I loved these beans. Great price too then they were discontinued.

A little on the crunchy side if you ask me. My wife said I should boil them before trying to eat them, she might be on to something there.

There tends to be 4-8 ounces of bad beans in each package. Even after being culled, there are still questionable beans in the batch. It says that they are triple cleaned but the beans are usually dirty and contain rocks. Quality control needs to be improved.

Do not buy these beans!!Very low quality bean .The best pinto beans have a rating of US EXTRA 1. These would be rated a 3 due to the very small size of the bean and so many split broken beans !The saying you get what you pay for and that's why these beans don't cost much!

bought these in May of 2026, it's now Oct of 2026, these don't expire until April 2027, and yet they're rotting in the bag. good thing I didn't need to rely on them for actual food.
