This is the worst smoke detector I have ever had. It keeps beeping after showers despite being two rooms away and the bathroom having an exhaust. It now beeps continuously with 3 short beeps every minute and there is nothing that will stop it, it is clean of dust, and humidity level never reach more than 70% according to the meter next to it. It is maybe 3 months old...

The unit is pretty standard but the best part is that when it's low on battery it does not make that annoying chirp sound but it beeps and reminds you to replace the battery. The battery is supposed to last ten years but only time will tell. This is a great combo and saves you room from having two units to install. I highly recommend it and definitely will buy it again if I ever need another one.

Installation is very easy and comes with everything you need. Once the plate is installed, simply click the little red lever in the back to install onto the plate and it’s activated and ready to use. I tested this unit by pushing on the button on the front, and boy is it loud! It can easily be heard in every room of our home including the garage. Small investment to keep your family safe!

I installed it in the kitchen, 6 feet away from appliances as stated on the package. It blends in the ceiling nicely and it works great as I tested twice to make sure it works. Also, happy to know that the battery lasts 10 years.
