[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great smoke and Carbon monoxide detector. I love that it’s not a hard wired one so I could put it anywhere. I put it in my basement near my furnace room and it works perfectly. It was easy to put on the wall. The battery works for 10 years. I’m hoping that won’t be a big deal to replace after 10 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smoke detector is great! It detects carbon monoxide and smoke! It’s extremely easy to install and requires no batteries. Just open, install and that’s it. Lasts 10 years then will need to be replaced.

First thing you notice is this carbon monoxide/smoke detector is more modern looking than the model it replaced. It still has the green status light to let you know the power supply is good. These are the loudest alarms I have ever heard. They work well and you can tell the difference in beep alarm for Carbon monoxide and smoke. Definitely recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was great! Hours after putting it up, I was using new ninja kitchen gadget and apparently misjudged the timing. Smoke filled my kitchen. It went off and alerted us, due to the smoke not moving out quickly, it wouldn't let me turn it off, which I liked because had this been an emergency, this would be a great thing

If this actually does last ten years, it will probably be cheaper than buying 20 9V batteries. I just don't like that it can't be reused and hope they come out with a 10-year battery pack replacement . I like that it is a carbon monoxide detector as well as a smoke detector. Installation was about as simple as it gets. Had it screaming a test beep at me from the ceiling less than ten minutes after unboxing it. I can sleep a bit better tonight, knowing we have this high-quality detector looking out for us.

The one doesn’t make the annoying chirps in the middle of the night when the battery gets low. On that note, it’s important to test the battery. Great product!

The unit is pretty standard but the best part is that when it's low on battery it does not make that annoying chirp sound but it beeps and reminds you to replace the battery. The battery is supposed to last ten years but only time will tell. This is a great combo and saves you room from having two units to install. I highly recommend it and definitely will buy it again if I ever need another one.

I will happily say that I can appreciate the longevity of the battery life of this unit. Installation was a breeze. I will gladly pick up more of these units to replace old out dated units I currently have.

I’m excited that it has both carbon monoxide and smoke detection as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy I got the Kidde smoke and carbon monoxide alarm. It has two safety alerts in one package. I installed it in the kitchen, 6 feet away from appliances as stated on the package. It blends in the ceiling nicely and it works great as I tested twice to make sure it works. Also, happy to know that the battery lasts 10 years.
