They seem to be good items. I installed quickly with no issues tested and they seemed to be functioning, but only time will tell if they last the full 10 years. There were a lot of good reviews that i looked at before purchasing. The 10 warranty, I'm not certain it exists, couldn't find on their website. You must keep receipts and have Manufacture date, date installed, which may be 2 to 10 months different. I know that first alert had a 7 year warranty and they honored it.

I used only Kidde smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in rental properties for 30 years. I had two bad experiences with the other well known brand, then switched to Kidde after seeing they're top rated in a national consumer magazine. I've never had a bad experience with Kidde detectors. The 10 year lithium battery models save money in the long run and a chore every October.

They seem like a high quality smoke and carbon dioxide detector. We ordered 4 of them and they were easy to install. Tested them and seem to be in good working condition. Helps bring peace to my mind.

I only buy this brand. The 10 year battery matches the 10 year shelf life of product, so its a no brainer.

I don't like you have a smoke detector using a sealed lithium battery and lithium batteries can start fires so if IT starts the fire the detector is shot and I couldn't find an old fashioned 9volt. Its STUPID to use a fire hazard.. even marked on it.. as fore prevention

lasted like six months then started going off for no reason. for 80 dollars id hope it would have actually lasted. it started going off for like two hours straight the other night, youd turn it off and it would start right back up even outside. its been outside under a blanket, and it woke me up this morning. 80 dollars?????

need to return with no help from walmart. how do Ido it.
