Hi there, we understand how frustrating this can be. Nuisance alarms can be caused by things like cooking smoke, steam, aerosols, or dust entering the sensor. If you've confirmed there is no fire, you can use the Hush feature, clean the alarm with compressed air, and make sure it's installed away from kitchens, bathrooms, HVAC vents, or fans. I love these smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Screw up the bracket, write the date installed on the sticker, turn to activate and forget it for ten years. When it’s time to replace, just repeat the process and your allset for another ten years.
