I will happily say that I can appreciate the longevity of the battery life of this unit. Installation was a breeze. I will gladly pick up more of these units to replace old out dated units I currently have.

I installed it in the kitchen, 6 feet away from appliances as stated on the package. It blends in the ceiling nicely and it works great as I tested twice to make sure it works. Also, happy to know that the battery lasts 10 years.

First thing you notice is this carbon monoxide/smoke detector is more modern looking than the model it replaced. It still has the green status light to let you know the power supply is good. These are the loudest alarms I have ever heard. They work well and you can tell the difference in beep alarm for Carbon monoxide and smoke. Definitely recommend!!

Having this in the basement gives me a good piece of mine but when my kids are sleeping, they are safe.

This is a Smoke & Carbon Monoxide detector that has a 10 yr battery life by KIDDE. This device is self testing, reduce nuisance alarms which has enhanced sensing technology to reduce false alarms from cooking, & no low battery chirps. Love that you only have to change the battery every 10yrs which the device will alert after 10yrs once it has been powered! This was easy to install with a twist and click mounting bracket, so my husband had no problems. We only had fire detectors in our home but now we are so happy to have upgraded to Smoke & Carbon Monoxide detection device, both which can be fatal! So happy with this device!

I put it in my basement near my furnace room and it works perfectly. It was easy to put on the wall. The battery works for 10 years. I’m hoping that won’t be a big deal to replace after 10 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is completely practical. But I am a practical woman. I was so glad to see a two in one option to keep my family safe. I was also really excited that it didn’t need to be hardwired and the batteries never needed to be replaced. With a 10 year battery life this thing will be good to go for a while. There is a place to write a date of replacement so that we know when to replace the battery. The install was super easy- I did it myself with just a drill. And the testing process was easy to. It cycles through all of the beeps and various beeping alerts when you first test it. It is not loud or annoying, but just the right volume. I feel safer, just having this in my house and will buy some more for the rooms.

Carbon monoxide is a real threat and this detecter will protect for both a fire and carbon monoxide while being powered by a battery set to last 10 years. I already feel safer in my house since I opened the box, took it out and turned it on. No hard wiring needed and attaches to wall with ease.

I’m excited that it has both carbon monoxide and smoke detection as well.
