[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great smoke and Carbon monoxide detector. I love that it’s not a hard wired one so I could put it anywhere. I put it in my basement near my furnace room and it works perfectly. It was easy to put on the wall. The battery works for 10 years. I’m hoping that won’t be a big deal to replace after 10 years.

So simple to install and get it working. Also love that there is a 10 year battery life. Highly recommended.

I have had no issues so far, and it seems to do everything you’d want a smoke alarm to do. I really appreciate that this is the combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector, it makes me feel safer!

First thing you notice is this carbon monoxide/smoke detector is more modern looking than the model it replaced. It still has the green status light to let you know the power supply is good. These are the loudest alarms I have ever heard. They work well and you can tell the difference in beep alarm for Carbon monoxide and smoke. Definitely recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KIDDE DETECT SMOKE + CARBON MONOXIDE ALARM Model #30CUD10 10-YEAR NEVER-CHANGE BATTERY I received this product, from #KIDDE and #Influenster , free of charge, in return for my honest and unbiased review. This unit actually could tell the difference between a "Fire" & an "Air Fryer", thank you sweet baby Jesus in your golden fleece diaper... I would recommend this product solely for that wonderful feature on its own. 😂 But in all seriousness, I think it is great. It detects SMOKE and CARBON MONOXIDE. It isn't ridiculously expensive, it is super easy to install with just two little screws, it looks nice, it's not too bulky (only 5 inches in diameter), there is no need to test it, it isn't supposed to have those annoying chirps that you search each room for, there is no need to wire it in because of the 10 year battery (Who wouldn't love that?), and it, so far, has not been a nuisance (Yay!). With my other previous unit, I would have to wave a hand towel, or a cutting board, to get it to stop screaming at me, for using my air fryer!!!Kudos to KIDDE for a great, much less annoying product.

The unit is pretty standard but the best part is that when it's low on battery it does not make that annoying chirp sound but it beeps and reminds you to replace the battery. The battery is supposed to last ten years but only time will tell. This is a great combo and saves you room from having two units to install. I highly recommend it and definitely will buy it again if I ever need another one.

I came to the Kidde website to read the product documentation on the new 10-year detector because my current Kidde detectors will soon be 10-years old. When I clicked on User Guide, Specifications, etc., none of the links work. Since reviewers on other websites have complained about this problem, I was surprised to see that Kidde has not fixed it.

I installed it in the kitchen, 6 feet away from appliances as stated on the package. It blends in the ceiling nicely and it works great as I tested twice to make sure it works. Also, happy to know that the battery lasts 10 years.

I know that it will not fail my family if we were to have a fire or gas leak. It is the only brand we use and have around my home.. It’s easy to install and blends into the ceilings. It’s definitely something that should be in every household.
