Because it was not the one I originally wanted/picked out but the substitute cost more than the original one that I picked out. I didn’t have enough time to respond so I just excepted the item.

I found this to be a very well made piece of equipment. Easy to install using the anchor screws provided. The screw to activate the power was well thought out.

I installed this yesterday and already regret purchasing it. It started beeping this morning, less than 24 hours after activation. I pressed the reset button to clear the error, then after a few hours it started again and has a false fire alarm.

Read all the other reviews and see that nearly all the 5 star reviews are from incentivized/paid people. My product got the dreaded fault alarm after 1 month of use. They are extremely expensive and don't last 10 years. Do better KIDDIE!

Everything everyone else says is absolutely true. What a nightmare this product is.

We like that we don't have to change the batteries every year. We are replacing an earlier model of Kidde smoke/co detector.

Nice Detector. We like the fact of the Ten Year Battery. Most likely will purchase again to protect Family and home.

I like the 10 year battery! Easy to install and get it started, instructions were easy to understand.

Easy to install. Won't have to worry about it for 10 years. Even if it dies sooner than 6 years, it's worth it.

I really like that the battery doesn’t need changing. I can sleep better knowing this is in my granddaughter’s room.
