[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was a breeze. I like that this is a dual alarm. I was able to replace 2 separate alarms. The alarm is loud and is easily heard when it matters. I love the long battery life. I don’t have to remember to change them yearly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cool thing about this is no more replacing batteries every six months. If this actually does last ten years, it will probably be cheaper than buying 20 9V batteries. I just don't like that it can't be reused and hope they come out with a 10-year battery pack replacement . I like that it is a carbon monoxide detector as well as a smoke detector. Installation was about as simple as it gets. Had it screaming a test beep at me from the ceiling less than ten minutes after unboxing it. I can sleep a bit better tonight, knowing we have this high-quality detector looking out for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smoke detector is great! It detects carbon monoxide and smoke! It’s extremely easy to install and requires no batteries. Just open, install and that’s it. Lasts 10 years then will need to be replaced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed this in my home, replacing an older smoke detector. This was easy to install, and I had it up in no time. I have had no issues so far, and it seems to do everything you’d want a smoke alarm to do. I really appreciate that this is the combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector, it makes me feel safer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really appreciate that this is a combo smoke and carbon monoxide detector. It is important to have both, especially in an old home like mine. This easily installs on the ceiling and you don’t need batteries. You just move a tab over and the installed battery is activated. No more chirping when the battery is low (which is amazing because that always sent my senior dog crazy and always seemed to happy when I was deep asleep). This is a must have for peace of mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is completely practical. But I am a practical woman. I was so glad to see a two in one option to keep my family safe. I was also really excited that it didn’t need to be hardwired and the batteries never needed to be replaced. With a 10 year battery life this thing will be good to go for a while. There is a place to write a date of replacement so that we know when to replace the battery. The install was super easy- I did it myself with just a drill. And the testing process was easy to. It cycles through all of the beeps and various beeping alerts when you first test it. It is not loud or annoying, but just the right volume. I feel safer, just having this in my house and will buy some more for the rooms.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Protecting my home and family is extremely important to me, so it’s great to have smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in my home for safety. I already have several Kidde smoke detectors in my home and they have always performed outstanding, so I was very happy to receive this combo smoke and carbon monoxide detector. Installation is very easy and comes with everything you need. Once the plate is installed, simply click the little red lever in the back to install onto the plate and it’s activated and ready to use. I tested this unit by pushing on the button on the front, and boy is it loud! It can easily be heard in every room of our home including the garage. Small investment to keep your family safe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KIDDE DETECT SMOKE + CARBON MONOXIDE ALARM Model #30CUD10 10-YEAR NEVER-CHANGE BATTERY I received this product, from #KIDDE and #Influenster , free of charge, in return for my honest and unbiased review. This unit actually could tell the difference between a "Fire" & an "Air Fryer", thank you sweet baby Jesus in your golden fleece diaper... I would recommend this product solely for that wonderful feature on its own. 😂 But in all seriousness, I think it is great. It detects SMOKE and CARBON MONOXIDE. It isn't ridiculously expensive, it is super easy to install with just two little screws, it looks nice, it's not too bulky (only 5 inches in diameter), there is no need to test it, it isn't supposed to have those annoying chirps that you search each room for, there is no need to wire it in because of the 10 year battery (Who wouldn't love that?), and it, so far, has not been a nuisance (Yay!). With my other previous unit, I would have to wave a hand towel, or a cutting board, to get it to stop screaming at me, for using my air fryer!!!Kudos to KIDDE for a great, much less annoying product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy I got the Kidde smoke and carbon monoxide alarm. It has two safety alerts in one package. I installed it in the kitchen, 6 feet away from appliances as stated on the package. It blends in the ceiling nicely and it works great as I tested twice to make sure it works. Also, happy to know that the battery lasts 10 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I love how this has a 10 year battery! I always forget to change them and then the awful chirping starts with my old one. This was a pretty simple setup, my husband got it up in about 5 minutes. While testing, it was very loud, so that's great. I like that it says it's not as loud if you set it off while cooking, because I do that a decent amount lol. I also like that it's an alarm for Carbon Monoxide as well.
