[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smoke detector seems to work great so far—it doesn’t seem overly sensitive and seems to function fine. Obviously this is something that you can’t really comment on fully until it’s served its purpose, but it’s great right now and was easy to install.

If this actually does last ten years, it will probably be cheaper than buying 20 9V batteries. I just don't like that it can't be reused and hope they come out with a 10-year battery pack replacement . I like that it is a carbon monoxide detector as well as a smoke detector. Installation was about as simple as it gets. Had it screaming a test beep at me from the ceiling less than ten minutes after unboxing it. I can sleep a bit better tonight, knowing we have this high-quality detector looking out for us.

This is a Smoke & Carbon Monoxide detector that has a 10 yr battery life by KIDDE. This device is self testing, reduce nuisance alarms which has enhanced sensing technology to reduce false alarms from cooking, & no low battery chirps. Love that you only have to change the battery every 10yrs which the device will alert after 10yrs once it has been powered! This was easy to install with a twist and click mounting bracket, so my husband had no problems. We only had fire detectors in our home but now we are so happy to have upgraded to Smoke & Carbon Monoxide detection device, both which can be fatal! So happy with this device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. We have only had a fire alarm in my house until now. Carbon monoxide is a real threat and this detecter will protect for both a fire and carbon monoxide while being powered by a battery set to last 10 years. I already feel safer in my house since I opened the box, took it out and turned it on. No hard wiring needed and attaches to wall with ease.

After just over one year it has failed and gone into a fatal fault mode, and despite pressing the button on the front after one hour, it falls back into the fault mode and continues on. I immediately read reviews on this product via this website and emailed the email provided by other customers with the same issue with pictures of the front and back and after two days of listening to this go off, I finally had to deactivate the device which some say voids the warranty, but the manufacturer has failed to respond adequately to my email and I cannot continue listening to this beep several times throughout the day. I will not purchase this product again and look at other brands

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was a breeze. I like that this is a dual alarm. I was able to replace 2 separate alarms. The alarm is loud and is easily heard when it matters. I love the long battery life. I don’t have to remember to change them yearly.

Good brand like that is both smoke and carbon monoxide alarm. very pricey
