Poor quality

I love snapper but this was terrible. It wasn't old but it had a bad flavor. Sam's salmon is good, but the snapper and mahi have been disappointing.

Not fresh, horrible

5 snapper fillets, the 2 flesh facing upwards were a good pink color and the 3 skin up, had totally white flesh underneath and smelt way too fishy to be fresh! The white pieces were tough and rubbery and inedible....will stick to the salmon and tuna.

Not so good

Wrapped up tight enough to hide the fishy smell. Stinky

Little fishy when thawed

It's tough to get good less fishy fish in Oklahoma. Cleaned and seasoned these and turned out good.

Trying a new diet of Sam's fish.

It was my first time cooking snapper. So it should get better.

Wild caught snappers

It is good to have it because it is wild caught and now a days, it's very hard to get any wild caught fish. So thanks Sam's club for carrying them. They are rich in fish healthy fats. I like them with their skins on.

Very tasty if you know how to cook it

I have never had perch before and decided to try. I fried it and it was OK, but it was not the best cooking method, or maybe I was not doing it right. It’s a very nice dense fish which would be excellent in a spicy Moroccan fish stew or a similar dish, or maybe marinated for 30 minutes in oil, garlick and lemon, then baked and served with a sauce.

Good Product

I wasn't sure about the quality of the fish; but they were good, some bones but good. Frying them was my first thought; but I haven't gotten around to it; however, I did seared them . They turned out better than expected. I would have rated a 5 but the price and the bones.
