When fresh, this is very tasty. It doesn't need much... just lightly fry it with a bit of salt, pepper, and oregano. Don't overcook, and don't over spice. The fish itself is very tasty. It's nice to serve it with green beans, or some salad.

Was not what I expected, flavor was not there just a experience I didn't like

These are fairly thin and the skin doesn’t crisp up similar to other snapper. Not sure if I got a bad package. The flesh is ok - very thin filet.

The first pack I bought was expired the next day afterwards as I failed to notice the date. I opened it up anyway to check and it smelled really bad so I threw it out. My bad! Next pack I checked the date but was terrible!

I have never been more disappointed. I was so excited to have some good crispy fried snapper-Unfortunately, it didn't happen. IDK WHAT this was but it definitely was Not snapper. The consistency was like paper towel and flavor was non existing. The best part about it is that I was able to return it without question.

I ordered snapper to be picked up they gave me a 3# piece which was reduced due to short shelf life and did not give me credit for $7 reduction I had to cook fish next day and we ate the snapper for a week since it was already frozen. It is not fresh. I tried to talk to someone and I’m still waiting no return call

Extreme foul odor. Husband grilled hoping it would be edible, unfortunately it was not. We live over an hour from store and did not return it. (All refrigerated items stay in cooler with adequate ice packs during travel). This was our second time to purchase inedible fish. The other was salmon. We will not be buying seafood from SAMS again. Expensive lesson.

We cooked one of the three fillets, but the taste and texture were rubbery and unpleasant not fresh or natural at all, so we couldn't eat it.
