I have been using Kingsford for almost 20 years and I can say that it is the best on the market by far. My wife bought another brand one day and it was a disaster, the coals did not get hot enough and died out in no time. It's now the only brand we use

Your product left all the food I grilled tasting like burning rubber ! What have you done ? If you have 3 shifts working, then you need quality countrol on all 3 shifts ! I will never count on the Kingsford brand again, and the remainder of the charcoal in the bag will be thrown out with the rest of the trash. You ruined my food , and also I suspect your product is resposible for the headacke I'm experiencing at this very moment !

We've grilled several times this Spring and have already gone through two bags of this charcoal. It's been fantastic! We've had no difficulty lighting it or keeping it burning at all and it has cooked our chicken, hamburger and fish evenly. I don't think anyone could ask for a better, more dependable charcoal!

We are Looong time users of KIngsford Charcoal. This season we bought a 2x20 lb package as we usually do. We do a lot of dutch oven cooking and the number of coals you use is important. We find the new coals don't last as long, so they are messing up our recipes. We found an older bag in our camper, and compared. The old briquet was at least 1/3 larger than the new ones. We have also found they don't last as long in our kettle cooker. Please go to the old tried and true.back

I always used Kingsford. Price is so high now and the last few bags don't even burn near as well. It also seems to take more . What is different. Might as well switch to much cheaper brand. I had always liked the wood ones like hickory but not worth the cost anymore

We've been using Kingsford Charcoal for as long as i can remember and its consistent and never disappoints. Lights evenly and is reliable; we use this for year round grilling here in the Windy City! I stock up on this every single year and have always been a faithful customer. Thanks for providing a great product.

I use only Kingsford Charcoal and mostly the original. I have tried off brands / bargain brands, but as they say, "You get what you pay for." I try to stock up when some of the big box stores offer a 2 for special sale price and often it lasts me all season . . I mean I stock up to the tune of 20+ bags . . . I will never run out . . and I also use the Kingsford Brand lighter fluid. After trying so many others nothing beats Kingsford for fast lighting, heat and long lasting ! I 100% recomend the use of Kingsford.

The last six bags of Kingsford charcoal I have bought burnt out extremely fast!! I thought maybe just a bad bag or two but the quality is nowhere near what it used to be! Not sure if they changed their process or what but I’m definitely not buying anymore. After 35 years of what used to be a great product I’m no longer going to put myself through this aggravation!! Good by Kingsford, time to find a new favorite!

Two years ago Kingsford came out with a new formula. It would not create or maintain a grilling temperature. It seemed as though they responded to complaints and in 2022, the product was good again. Now, my first purchase in 2023, which is not only suffering from shrinkflation (16 lb bags instead of 20lb) we’re back to heat not achieving high heat (450 plus) but when it gets to 400 degrees, it will not hold that temperature for even 15 minutes! Very disappointed and probably will not purchase again!!

I enjoy grilling year round and have used Kingsford original for over 30 years. I've tried some other brands a time or two but always go back to Kingsford. It's easy to light with a chimney and paper, burns hot for a longer period of time and adds a great smokey flavor to everything I cook.
