We have a charcoal/gas combo grill but I always use the charcoal side because I love the flavor that the Kingsford original charcoal adds to the meat. Wasn't aware that it stated on the bag that it was improved, but had noticed that it seemed to light up faster. With these short day light hours, it helped get dinner on the table that much quicker. Kingsford is all that I buy unless I'm desperate and the Kingsford is sold out.

i grew up watching my dad grilling with the old style coals and he loved it. but if you could have heard the word that came out of his mouth when yall changed to the new coals he hated the new coals and so do i. would love to see the old style coals come back the new ones are much smaller and takes more coals to preform the same amount of grilling witch cost us more $$$

Over the years I have bought nothing but Kingsford charcoal, but it seems over the last year or two, the charcoal has been burning out, losing it's heat much faster than in the past. Wondering if something has changed in "the recipe" to make this happen? Last night I barely had enough heat to cook 10 chicken legs. Just curious.

It was the Fourth of July afternoon 2016 I got my wife to drop me off at the boat dock to do a little fishing I had eaten earlier that night at home barbecue with Kingsford at home and then I got my wife to take me and drop me at the boat dock so I can do a little fishing well I called about 5 beautiful Bass and as I was walking one fishing spot to the next these four I'll sleep pretty nurses came walking out of the restaurant and one of the gorgeous girls said look at those beautiful fish she said will you cook those fish for us and they had a houseboat out on the end of the. And I said sure I will I said however I'm not hungry already ate at home I cooked early tonight so I can come fishing so we went out there and I'll fillet the fish and there dad had it already had the Kingsford grill lit up about 500 Degrees so I filleted my bass put salt and pepper and lemon and the whole lemon rind wrapped it in put salt and pepper and lemon and the wrap them in aluminum foil 6 minutes on one side 6 minutes on the other side and took them off the grill and the bass the meat literally melted in your mouth and the girls took off with the meat and went walking up and down the pier taking it and letting all their friends taste this meat that would melt in your mouth they brought me back homemade ice cream homemade brownies for me to munch on about the time the fireworks show started that is my Kingsford moment and one of my best memories I love good memories and Kingsford was a big part of making it all happen thank you so much Kingston I love Kingsford I'll keep it in my closet

Waited to give a review I was fortunate to receive a new kingsford pit for my 60+ birthday recently and wanted to christin a couple of times before writing review I have used kingsford since my father taught me to char grill On a yearly basis in Louisiana probably grill on average 2 times week Do not use anything but Kingsford now with new pit and charcoal only gets better If do not have one of the Kingsford pits get one

When the storms of April 27th, ravaged Alabama , my Disaster Relief team at my church went into action, we began feeding people hot meals everyday, we used an outrageous amount of Kingsford Charcoal and starter fluid, we would not use any other kind, we still only use and will continue to use Kingsford it is the BEST, thank you so much....

I have been using Kingsford for over 25 years. I use Kingsford because I have found it to be the most consistent charcoal on the market. Lights fast, especially in a chimney starter. I have learned how to control the heat to get the best results grilling or BBQing. I have cooked burgers, salmon, and spit roast pigs, all using Kingsford.

I love grilling...my husband bought me a new Kingsford grill with all the Kingsford accessories; charcoal, lighter fluid, etc...Love it. Invited his familyover for dinner and they absolutely enjoyed everything. Love the flavor that the charcoal leaves. Will never be a gas user!

We like the original charcoal because we like to add our own seasons. We once needed charcoal on a last minute's notice and the mini grocery store only carried another brand. It wasn't even worth it...we could have cooked the steak in a pan and it would have been better than that charcoal. We now always buy only Kingsford!! We only grill with charcoal...no gas used in our backyard bbqs. We use the Match Light when we do campfires so that we don't have to carry any more things than necessary when we hike.

Glad to see I am not the only loyal one who is not happy on not being able to purchase 20 pound bags. Your charcoal used to be the best choice/value but things have changed. Because of the downsize price increase- I am going to give other charcoals a chance again. I am a proud Weber Charcoal griller, but not going to stay that loyal anymore.
