My Dad used Kingsford exclusively and always said it worked better than ANY off brand he'd ever tried. They light faster, burn longer and hotter and just made grilling easier for him overall. Dad seems so much smarter now that I have gotten to 50 years of age. Imagine that!!

I will never use this charcoal ever again it is too thin upon using it I added extra to the grill but as I started cooking that wasn't even enough. I would definitely not recommend this product ever again and I will no longer use Kingsford ever again.

My husband loves to BBQ. He sent me to the store for charcoal and I got a cheap bag of charcoal because it was on sale AND BOY WAS HE MAD! My husband sent me back to the store and said " I better not come back with anything but Kingsford original unless I didn't want to eat. Kingsford is the best!

Over the years I have bought nothing but Kingsford charcoal, but it seems over the last year or two, the charcoal has been burning out, losing it's heat much faster than in the past. Wondering if something has changed in "the recipe" to make this happen? Last night I barely had enough heat to cook 10 chicken legs. Just curious.

I have learned the hard way that Kingsford is the best. While in a hurry last year to get the grill going, I ran into Kroger and grab the first bag of charcoal I could find. I really didn't think there was a difference in buying a no-named brand verses Kinsford. Well as luck would have it the charcoal would not stay lit..after tons of lighter fluid it just wasn't happening. So back to the store ...bought some Kingsford and dinner was on! From now on it's only Kinsford.

I bought matchlight and it didn't stay hot enough to cook two small steaks medium rare....it's ridiculous for the amount of money I wasted on this charcoal. I had to bring the food inside and finish it up on the foreman grill. Get it together Kingsford!

I love Kingsford Original, I use a chimney starter with 2 sheets of newspaper and Kingsford original, I tried using a gas grill used less than 1/2 of tank and switched back to my Charcoal, I also carry a table top grill and Kingsford original in my camper best charcoal I have used. Always make sure there at least 1 bag in the camper and 1 in the shed ready to go.

I have been using Kingsford for over 25 years. I use Kingsford because I have found it to be the most consistent charcoal on the market. Lights fast, especially in a chimney starter. I have learned how to control the heat to get the best results grilling or BBQing. I have cooked burgers, salmon, and spit roast pigs, all using Kingsford.

I get a stack of Kingsford good and hot, throw on some soaked hickory sticks and smoke additional Kingsford and I'm ready to smoke some ribs, chicken, pork butt...whatever is on the menu. Tried cheaper charcoal that either went out or burned up to quickly. LOVE this stuff!!
