I have used Kingsford Charcoal for 30 years. Over that time i have seen a change in the product. Its smaller and does not burn any where near as long as older formula.

I only buy Kingsford it is the best there is. I don't buy food only to waste it with it tasting nasty from other charcoal and lighter fluid that is why I only buy Kingsford lasts longer in burn time and no nasty tasting food.

Kingsford Charcoal is the only charcoal we use. We have tried others but they didn't light well or stay lite. It took twice as much charcoal. My Dad used Kingsford ,I use it and now our daughter.

Kingsford Original is excellent in even burning and heat generation. It is also the longest burning charcoal I have ever used. Although I have used the Kingsford Hickory and Kingsford Mesquite, the Original is still the very best
