I have been using Kingsford for 40 years! So when I ordered my dream cooker there was no doubt what charcoal I would be using! I use your Original, Apple-wood and Hickory, I also use natural hickory, pecan and oak wood for a nice blend. I am and will always use Kingsford, just wish it would burn a little longer like back in the day.

I have been using kingsford charcoal for over 50 years, my present[charcoal] grill uses preferably lump charcoal,I can & do use kingsford when short of lump charcoal or want to extend more frugally my charcoal usage in my 'GREEN EGG'. I would & do recomend kingsford to my friends, it is reasonably priced & readily availlable in my area.

We bought a twin pack of Original and it's not Original anymore! The bag says new BBQ flavor in small print. What happened to the just Original charcoal? Please take out the new BBQ flavor it's yucky! We will have to go to a different brand to get back that natural BBQ flavor.

I never use anything other than Kingsford. Tried off brands in the past and you can taste the difference. I grill or BBQ as we call it out west and these briquettes burn the best. Evenly, long lasting and once you let them burn down to whiteish color they're ready and there's no charcoal taste whatsoever.

I have been using the Original Charcoal for years. This year I have found the quality to be lacking. The coals do not seem to get the white ash hot burn that they used to. This is my second bag this summer and the 2 bags have burned the same. the coals do not burn out, I'm left with 1/4 burnt coals after each BBQ. Overall, this used to be a GREAT product. I have been disappointed this year.

I have used the original briquets as well as the new briquets. To start a fire the newer version gets the fire started sooner, but they fizzle too quickly. They are good for a small amount of cooking, but if you want longevity, light them up, soak the coals and get to grilling the old school way. If stacked and soaked properly and of course ( I never put meat on the fire until I see some white in the coals) I have had fires burn 6 or more hours without a restart and this is of course cooking chicken, (which takes the longest to cook) along with burgers and many other food items. Kingsford is the only way to go........ Kingsford charcoal briquets signify the official kickoff of the summer.

The only brand I will ever use. Easy to ignite time after time, no residual taste if no lighter fluid is used. Burns for ample time to cook your food. If your grill permits the fire to be smothered after use you can reuse the unconsumed briquets in your next fire, stretching a bag of charcoal to the limits. Quality stuff; the one and only.

I have been using Kingsford for 30 plus years but I am looking for another brand. The bag size has been reduced as well as the briquette size. And to top it off the briquettes don't burn as long nor as hot! I use to buy 20# bags for a reasonable price but now they only come in 16.6# bags and the product is inferior. Sorry guys but like the "new Coke formula", you've got to return to what got you to the top. I'll return when you do. Thanks for the memories.

I have been grilling for 30 years with Kingsford. I have used other brands and their temps are not as consistent as Kingsford and the flavor isn't as good. However I do have to say that the quality has gone down. Smaller briquets that burn down quicker. I love to grill and being outside cooking it's really relaxing to me. I love the taste of a real good BBQ.

I bought matchlight and it didn't stay hot enough to cook two small steaks medium rare....it's ridiculous for the amount of money I wasted on this charcoal. I had to bring the food inside and finish it up on the foreman grill. Get it together Kingsford!
