Only Charcoal my family uses. Long Lasting and great flavor!!! We are able to make an entire feast with little charcoal. This is the brand that we will ever use. We have tried the generic store brands, but they are hard to light and last half of the time and end up being a waste of money. Kingsford Original is the absolute best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reviews that complain about the product not lighting, burning, whatever, are simple insane. I’ve been grilling and smoking with this stuff for a decade in my Weber kettle and Smoky Mountain Bullet smoker, including several overnight smokes. Lighting is a cinch with a chimney and the briquettes burn perfectly. Great product!

Been grilling year round in all sorts of weather here in Connecticut - will walk by any other brands at any other price and always grab the Kingsford. I use a chimney to get the coals going and have never once had issues with the burn. I prefer to add hickory, apple, cherry or whatever flavoring separate from the coal so I prefer the "original". It's a great product, I've been grilling for decades with it!! This is the real deal.

We always buy Kingsford. When we visit family at the lake cabin, my husband and I are in charge of grilling. There's an ongoing feud between the neighbors and us regarding which makes the better burger - gas or charcoal - and the charcoal wins hands down every time.

I was wondering if you put any chemicals in your original formula. I need natural charcoal (which your packaging indicates ) for the purpose of putting in the bottom of pots for propagating orchids. I use your original product for grilling and am very satisfied but don't know if you have any chemicals in this variety.

Often times I meet with friends who try to use knock-off brand of briquets to cook with and are faced with disastrous and humorous results. Either they can't get it to light or it puts an awful taste into the food on the grill. Want it right? Stick with the name that gives consistent and dependable results....Kingsford Original.

Have been wary of Kingsford because ingredients list is shady. “All natural” but no specifics about what is really in the briquettes. Bought this because no alternative available. Gave a distinct chemical taste to the chicken. Very not happy. Will not buy again. Do better, Kingsford.

It was the Fourth of July afternoon 2016 I got my wife to drop me off at the boat dock to do a little fishing I had eaten earlier that night at home barbecue with Kingsford at home and then I got my wife to take me and drop me at the boat dock so I can do a little fishing well I called about 5 beautiful Bass and as I was walking one fishing spot to the next these four I'll sleep pretty nurses came walking out of the restaurant and one of the gorgeous girls said look at those beautiful fish she said will you cook those fish for us and they had a houseboat out on the end of the. And I said sure I will I said however I'm not hungry already ate at home I cooked early tonight so I can come fishing so we went out there and I'll fillet the fish and there dad had it already had the Kingsford grill lit up about 500 Degrees so I filleted my bass put salt and pepper and lemon and the whole lemon rind wrapped it in put salt and pepper and lemon and the wrap them in aluminum foil 6 minutes on one side 6 minutes on the other side and took them off the grill and the bass the meat literally melted in your mouth and the girls took off with the meat and went walking up and down the pier taking it and letting all their friends taste this meat that would melt in your mouth they brought me back homemade ice cream homemade brownies for me to munch on about the time the fireworks show started that is my Kingsford moment and one of my best memories I love good memories and Kingsford was a big part of making it all happen thank you so much Kingston I love Kingsford I'll keep it in my closet

I seen all kinds of woods to burn for charcoal. Either these new longer burning or new shapes, or wood pellets. All these new kinds of charcoal are for marketing for extra profits! There is no need for these new styles. Kingsford does give you a variety of choices. But if you still to the gold standard, you won't be dissapointed! Regular Kingsford is what is used in our home at least the last 50 years! My only negative about this product is the price. Kingsfords Briquettes have gone up in price significantly within the last 10 years!

I have been a Kingsford customer for the past 17 years. I have never been so disappointed in the quality of the Kingsford Original Charcoal that I have purchased for the past few years. I used to love the brand but lately, the charcoal that I have been purchasing seems to burn a whole lot faster than what it did a few years back. Although I will continue to purchase and recommend Kingsford Original Charcoal to my family and friends I hope that the quality improves as far as the burn time is concerned.
