I got a Pit Barrel Cooker two years ago and powered it by Kingsford Original Charcoal the burn has never let me down. When not using a wood chunks to smoke with just the charcoal alone imparts a great flavor to anything cooked. It always lights easily and ready to cook in a very short time. I look forward to many more cooks using Kingsford Charcoal.

I watched a "Mystery at the Museum." They were telling the story of Henry Ford being eco friendly by taking scrap wood and creating Charcoal briskets. My mind put them together with the oldest and best charcoal. And my hunch was correct. Thanks for being the best and the oldest Charcoal.

I always used Kingsford Original Charcoal since I began grilling, going on 40 yrs. now. Never had a problem and if I did it was something I messed up. I have had friends bring over charcoal at different times that wasn't Kingsford, and it was always less than quality results using it. Kingsford is the best.

I am really troubled by what I am seeing and using. No one can improve on the flavor that your charcoal gives my product, so smokey, very flavorful, but I am finding more small, broken and halved briquets. These small charcoal pieces fall and block the air vents. I do not feel that your product lives up to the quality standards that Kingford has strived to uphold for my forty years of bar-b-que. Please help me change my review.

We have a charcoal/gas combo grill but I always use the charcoal side because I love the flavor that the Kingsford original charcoal adds to the meat. Wasn't aware that it stated on the bag that it was improved, but had noticed that it seemed to light up faster. With these short day light hours, it helped get dinner on the table that much quicker. Kingsford is all that I buy unless I'm desperate and the Kingsford is sold out.

I have used Kingsford charcoal for years. Its the only brand I use to bbq my meats. Like some of the other people I have seen changes in the size of the briquets and sometimes it don't last as long. Other times it works great. I usually buy Kingsford charcoal at either at Lowes or Home Depot around Memorial Day weekend when you can get a twin pack for $10, thats 40 lbs. great price. It usually lasts me until it goes on sale next year at the same time.

I enjoy grilling year round and have used Kingsford original for over 30 years. I've tried some other brands a time or two but always go back to Kingsford. It's easy to light with a chimney and paper, burns hot for a longer period of time and adds a great smokey flavor to everything I cook.

I use charcoal for all my grilling and smoking. I've got something cooking outdoors at least four nights a week. This stuff is easy to use. Lights quick, burns hot. One drawback is the amount of ash it leaves, but I figure that's due to the clay filler. Otherwise, no complaints whatsoever. As a tip, throw a handful of well soaked hardwood chips in the charcoal before cooking your foods. Apple, Pecan and Hickory make a fantastic blend and enhance just about any meat you might be cooking up.

I have a weber smoker and weber grill that the only charcoal that has ever been in it is Kingsford Original. I use a chimney to start and shut the grill down after use and am able to get two cooking session out of each set of charcoal..I've tried others but always come back to the Original! Seeing their name on a NASCAR car is another bonus!

Bought a new grill, have been away from charcoal fired BBQ's opting for propane instead. BBQ'n in Michigan in the winter forced my hand in deciding on convenience over fundamentals. Compromised with a Char-Broil Combination Charcoal Grill and Gas Grill with Side Burner, glad to be back nothing beats the flavor a charcoal cooked steak......
