Edge brush stopped working within 2 days, called and was told to send a video, then told they will send a new brush motor, I guess I work for IRobot now, I am expected to replace it which I am sure I can but REALLY! Brand New and I have to repair it. Should send me some bags and replacment rollers for working for them I think!

When the robot worked, it was really effective with dust and dog hair. in less than a year, its completely dead. It lost our Wifi weekly, and needed to be factory re-set frequently, which meant taking the time to do this Vs. it just working behind the scenes. We have been through customer service 3 times, cleaned the sensors, taken it apart, replaced the batteries, it's completely dead now. We're considering a replacement, hoping the one we purchased was a "lemon" iRobot. Crazy?

This thing drops wifi everyday for unknown reasons. Have to be restarted EVERY DAY. It sits right next to the wifi router so there should not be any connectivity concerns. I had an older 9XX model that never did this. Very disappointing and annoying, especially when it disconnects during cleaning. Actual cleaning performance is what you would expect from Roombas. Not particularly intelligent or efficient, but gets the job done eventually.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned an older model roomba for years and while satisfied it was a chore to clean out the bin everyday. This new model with it's self cleaning bin is awesome. I have three large dogs and it helps keep the hair under control immensely. They changed the brushes also so that they don't clog as easily. There is a added expense of bags but it's worth it for not having to mess with it everyday. It ihas done a great job cleaning the floor and I'm extremely satisfied.

I use my iRobot 3xweek and just love. My wonderful husband bough it for me because I have a really bad back issues and am 78 years old. I also have a desire to keep my house clean and my iRobot is the perfect helper in that effort toward cleaning. I get the high stuff and it gets the low stuff...DONE!

I wasn't going to write a review but this morning changed my mind. In the last 15 minutes I've had to pick it up 5 times to clear some obstruction that isn't there on the brushes. It's course of vacuuming since I bought it has been mind boggling at best. Not the back and forth like it's supposed to do. Just random laps around the kitchen until it dies somewhere. The funny part is watching our old $150 Ecovacs Deebot vacuum around it as it sits idle for absolutely no reason. Actually it's not funny because I could have bought 4 of those for what I wasted on this iRobot.

We bought this a few weeks ago. The battery life is horrible. We set it to vacuum the kitchen, entryway and living room on Tues and Thurs and the master bedroom and bath on Mon and Wed It spends an hour vacuuming our bath and bedroom on the scheduled run but doesn't get finished because it is really slow and the battery runs out. It does return to its station for a recharge but it is brand new. I would think the battery should last longer than one hour. Also, our bath and bedroom are not large enough to warrant it taking that long. I can only imagine the battery life will get even worse with time. In addition, it doesn't pick up my or the (non-shedding) dog's hair. It just makes a hair wad and spits it out for us to pick up later. We will probably return it. For the money it is just not worth it.

Does a decent job, tracks well, doesn't get stuck but I regret buying it. Found out they make you use their batteries and charge an insane $90 for a 1.8 Ah battery replacement. Why the battery is so small in the first place is a mystery to be but to charge that much for a replacement is straight up scummy.

iRobot's floor-cleaning Robot does a really nice job picking up debris in our kid-filled home, and the easily-cleaned beater bars and oversized debris tank make clean up a breeze. The charging base will empty the on-board debris just fine, albeit that can't happen at night when everyone is sleeping as it is quite loud. Excellent battery life, great cleaning, self-emptying and great corner cleaning brushes make this robot vacuum a winner!

First off—it does a decent job of vacuuming. Second off — it’s never finished making it through our home. It keeps getting on any of our rugs and then throws the drop off error. It get hung up on the base either trying to get off of it or getting back on. The rugs we have are short pile and sometimes it works and other times it does. We are taking ours back as it is extremely frustrating moving it to a new location every time it detect a cliff while it’s sitting on a rug.
