It has outperformed my stick vac and cherry on top is that it can be controlled remotely and requires minimal to zero work from my side. I love the self empty feature though it is quite loud. We live in a split level so the noise isn't as concerning for us. However, any time I am on the same level, it gets pretty loud. For some that may be a nuisance. I didn't have any problems with the transtions from rugs to hardwood flooring or vice versa. My kitchen has vinyl and it cleaned very well too. One feature I would like to see added to this is having it go to a specific room since it does map the area and maps it pretty well. Suction and cleaning power is good and the design is clean and user friendly. I would a 100% recommend this but I still would like to see the feature for a desired room to be cleaned to be added so thats why I gave it a 4 star rating.

The Roomba has been a lifesaver for me, as someone who just adopted a very fluffy husky puppy. It picks up dog and cat hair with no problem as well as other dirt and dust debris around the house. Having the receptacle reduces the amount of times I personally have to empty the tray. The bags for the receptacle can be finicky at times, you have to be sure to replace them correctly, but the Roomba will alert you using the app if there is an issue. The Roomba navigates córners very well and even in times when I think it has gotten itself into a tricky situation it is able to get itself out. It's a persistent bot that rarely stops going for any other reason than job completion. The quick setup guide provided will have you ready to go in just a few minutes.

This is our 2nd Roomba. We have the i3 with auto disposal and Mop. Love the i3. It picks up so much more than our vacuum cleaner does. It auto vacs 3 times a week and get lots of cat and dog hair. We hope it lasts as long as our last unit (5-6 yrs). No complaints except it is a little loud.

This robot works great on my low pile carpet, hardwood, and tile. In a house with a cat it picked up a lot more than my older model 690, and has only gotten stuck once. The mapping feature is a nice add on over my older model. The only con I had was the self cleaning bases bag was full and I didn't get a notice to change it.

There are many improvements over older versions of Roomba. As a pet owner the rubber brush was a major improvement as it does not get full of hair. My floors have never stayed so clean. The best thing is Roomba empties itself when it docks at its charging station, this process is a little loud. This robot has saved us so much time keeping our floors clean. It works well on both carpet and hard wood floors.

I love that I can set a schedule and I don't have to get up to vacuum at all. The only issue I have is that since we have had it for over a year we have not been able to use the mapping because we can't get it to run through an entire job without stopping with an issue.

The Roomb quickly cleans about 700 sq ft of my house daily. It is quieter than previous generation, faster, and does a more logical job of cleaning. Pros: Fast, quiet, gets up on rugs that prior roombas could not, has a tower so you don't have to empty it very often. Cons: The tower sounds like a jet fighter when it cycles. Extremely loud, but just for about 10-15 seconds. It also has a very wasteful bag. I'd prefer a bin thata I could empty. Amazon Echo integration is terrible. I could never make it do what I wanted. The rotating brush is noisy on my wood floors.

I love the fact that it empties itself, finds its way back to the home base and resumes when cleaned or charged. It lacks where you can't control it from the app so it's start new or not at all, it is very loud, and one time when it got stuck and didn't finish, it never reported back what it had cleaned. I'm a long-time Roomba enthusiast, and this is my third robot vacuum. Imagine my disappointment when I pay twice as much for an upgrade and it does the job less than half as well. In two years, the mapping has never worked accurately. My Roomba can't remember where to go, where to avoid, and randomly decides not to clean areas on the map. On top of that, it does a mediocre job of cleaning my hard floors. I actually have to bring its 6-year old sister out of the bedroom and run her to get my hard floors clean. I'm constantly babying this thing to get it to charge, find home, clean within its own map. I often wake to find it just randomly didn't do its job overnight, and wind up sweeping with a broom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iRobot Roomba i3 is much better than the cheaper BobSweep robot that I have. The i3 is not as tall as the BobSweep, which means it doesn't get stuck under some tables and chairs that the BobSweep. I knew I could just let it go without having to rescue it from under a piece of furniture. I also love the fact that it empties the bin automatically when it's needed, since that was a big drawback of the other robotic vacuum I have. I would say the one drawback is that it started to eat the placemat that I have under my dog's dishes, but I should have realized that would have happened. The only other thing I dislike is that the sound when it empties the bin into the other unit is really loud. I would absolutely buy this product, although I would really love it if they included the electronic "walls" so that I can use it only in certain areas. I also like the app, so I can see where it's been, and that I can just tell Alexa to start or stop the Roomba. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family!
