I loved this product for the first few weeks it ran. It stopped vacuuming with an error code, so I called customer support. Ladies and gentlemen that is where all the problems began. Customer support for this company is trash. They don't respond to emails, they fail to follow up, and it takes them forever to resolve an issue. At this point the robot has not worked longer then actually worked and I shipped this thing out and still haven't heard anything. Who knows where my iRobot is at this point. Truely unfortunate that I will not be able to recommend this product mostly because of poor support and customer service.

I have a dog who sheds profusely. When I read about the Roomba i3 associated with the fact that it is a pet hair vacuum, I knew this was a main factor in what I was looking for. There's no doubt this vacuum does just that. I'm so impressed how well this robot cleans every spec of dirt and hair from my floor. It will run its course, return to areas where it recognized to be more dirt than other areas. The self empty I'm so glad I have this... and it takes a long time before you have to replace a bag. Very compacted trash!!!

iRobot's floor-cleaning Robot does a really nice job picking up debris in our kid-filled home, and the easily-cleaned beater bars and oversized debris tank make clean up a breeze. The charging base will empty the on-board debris just fine, albeit that can't happen at night when everyone is sleeping as it is quite loud. Excellent battery life, great cleaning, self-emptying and great corner cleaning brushes make this robot vacuum a winner!

I had the 600 series roomba and thought it was great, but this series is much smarter. It cleans in rows and if something is on its way, it will slow down to not hit it and go around it. It doesn't reset the path and continues cleaning efficiently. It's a bit noisy, especially when it empties in the tower, but it's totally worth it. I have long hair that used to basically make wigs with the other roomba that has brushes, but this one has rubber rolls where hairs don't get stuck. It's so low maintenance and it's been months and I haven't had to empty out the bag in the self empty tower. I guess it compresses the dirt. I'm in a 2 bedroom apt that has both titled floor and carpet and it works great on both. I'm allergic to dust and I haven't had any problems, especially since it self empties and I never have to touch any dirt.

I'm surprised at the reviews because my rumba from day one learned my apartment goes from room to room hardware to area rugs to a carpet a bedroom with no problems I have two dogs gets all the pet hair I still have to sweep around my plants because it's too narrow on the sides to get to but that's it it's done a great job that had no problems from day one would definitely recommend and would definitely buy it again

My initial thoughts of the i3+ is that its SOOOOO loud, I mean jet engine loud. I moved it to the laundry room instead of the main living area and that seemed to help that issue as it has to empty multiple times in one clean. My biggest issue is the the vacuum bag isn't reusable and they don't have any reusable options with the self emptying base. I have a husky and the bag fills up almost immediately. Also, at this price point I was unhappy to learn that this version doesn't actually have the option to tell it to clean a specific room. It maps out your home to clean it but only in the i7 can you request a specific room or spot be cleaned. If it was cheaper I would definitely keep it because it does make my life easier but its way too expensive to have this many issues so unfortunately I'm returning.

We have 2 iRobots and I can't tell you what a time saver they are! We have a split level home, so we have 2 robot upstairs and one robot downstairs. They give me the freedom to get other chores accomplished while they work on the floors. I feel so thankful to have the extra time to do additional cleaning and not have to worry about the floors. GREAT product!

I love this vacuum cleaner and its gone beyond our exceptions. It cleans a total of 5 rooms with obstructions all over the place. It's fascinating to watch how it makes its way through chairs, under the dining table and every little corner it can gets to go. So far its done a fantastic job cleaning, considering its size being battery powered. I just didn't had to intercede even once. The 1st floor coverage is large and as I said before it has quite a few obstacles. It does take Zoomba about couple of times to charge before it can complete its cleaning all on its own. It's uncanny how life like it feels.

I've had issues from the start and their customer service has been horrible, if you can actually get a hold of them. Spent almost $1,000 with them when we bought a new house. The customer service kid had no answers for me, there was not a manager available, and just hung up. Numerous emails have yielded no phone call. Completely dissatisfied with the products and the joke of their "customer service". I would never buy from them again. Find a company that stands by their products and their name.

I was not sure but am totally happy with this. Did my research & settled on the I3+ Not only do I think 5his is the best one....other reviews say the newer more expensive one isn't as good..... this is quiet enough doesn't bother my kittys like the regular vacuum & I can sit & my floors get clean. . So far the only problem I've had is it picked up a quarter & a rubber band. The rubber band got caught up in the wheel making it go in circles....... Once I noticed & removed them things went back to normal. So now after each cleaning I inspect& wipe it down. I would recommend this one to everyone.
