I loved this product for the first few weeks it ran. It stopped vacuuming with an error code, so I called customer support. Ladies and gentlemen that is where all the problems began. Customer support for this company is trash. They don't respond to emails, they fail to follow up, and it takes them forever to resolve an issue. At this point the robot has not worked longer then actually worked and I shipped this thing out and still haven't heard anything. Who knows where my iRobot is at this point. Truely unfortunate that I will not be able to recommend this product mostly because of poor support and customer service.

While I am no expert in robot vacuums, I can say that this vacuum far exceeded my own expectations of it. It is only missing a few things to make it a perfect 5 star. I have 2 large German Shepherds that produce a ton of hair with shedding, and if that wasn't enough mess add in 4 children! The robot hits every single square inch of coverage, which was amazing! It perfectly cleaned up our floors every night, making them look amazing! The auto cleaning dock is one of the best features I have ever seen, it makes using your robot vacuum even more hands free. The only cons I have found with this robot would be instead of using disposable bags, to have the dirt go into an empty bin we can empty once a week or every few days. Its another option instead of having to spend money on bags to change out just as much. Also live mapping and room detection should be a feature in the app. The unit itself is a little loud, so it makes cleaning at night pretty challenging to light sleepers. Tthese ideas are only what I would want to give it a perfect 5 star. I would still 100% recommend this product to anyone!

If your robot is junk post it!! This company does not stand behind their product my robot was $600 i have sent it in a few times with issues and not the piece of junk after a year works so bad The response I got was "Sorry its past your 1 warranty" I am so sick of expensive products falling apart after 1 year. This is why we pay so much we hope that the product lasts many years and if not the company will send out a new one.

I rarely ever come back to give a review on a product, but I had to on this one. If you are on the fence about buying this i3+, let me give you some tips. We were unsure how well the self-emptying feature worked, we turn on Roomba twice a week, and 4 months later, we still haven't cleaned that bin once. We were unsure how well it would clean under furniture, it does a great job. Something that I learned quickly about Roomba was that it is very thorough. What I would recommend is for you to turn on Roomba when you leave the house. When you come back, he should be back at his charging station finished with the job. The last problem we had was if the Roomba i3+ could go to a different floor, and the answer is yes! Just place him somewhere on that floor and he will do his job and come back right where you put him. We thought that Roomba would assist us with cleaning, but it has taken it over, we haven't used our stick vacuum once since we got Roomba.

Beyond disappointed. Robot marketing is misleading. It doesn't map your home at all - doesn't learn it either. I have yet to have this robot successfully clean the 500 sq, ft room it's in. It gets lost consistently and then I get notifications that it's "stuck on a cliff". For the amount this product costs, this is beyond disappointing. Lucky for me, I received as a Christmas gift, but if I were you, I would stay far away from this robot and wouldn't waste the money.

I purchased three i3 iRobots last Christmas for myself and my adult sons after watching the ads on TV only to find that the i3 could not be told to clean a specific room which the TV ad showed you could control the vacuum using Alexa. It turns out that the i3 cannot do this and you need the more expensive models that have this feature. I don't need the whole house vacuumed every time I turn it on. I usually only need one or two high traffic rooms cleaned.

Pros: The Roomba is a life saving vacuum for a husky owner. It vacuums on schedule every night and ad hoc when we leave the apartment for the dog park and keeps the floors quite clean. I only need to use my regular vacuum for crevices or occasional spot cleaning. I also REALLY like that you can easily pop out the little navigation wheel to remove hair and other buildup. Maintenance in general is also very easy. Cons: It can get stuck from time to time so I have essentially partitioned off certain areas and sometimes need to rescue it. However a manual rescue is probably 1/15 vacuum trips and is sometimes because I left an iphone cord on the floor or something.

Somewhat disappointed in this model. The sweeper brush stops turning when in a bind against something which is very often. We have a Model 960 & this unit doesn't compare at all to it. This unit seems very cheaply built compared to the 960. I'll be surprised if it last long. We still use the 960 at another home & it will probably outlast this model. Only plus on this one is that it empties itself.

I love this vacuum cleaner and its gone beyond our exceptions. It cleans a total of 5 rooms with obstructions all over the place. It's fascinating to watch how it makes its way through chairs, under the dining table and every little corner it can gets to go. So far its done a fantastic job cleaning, considering its size being battery powered. I just didn't had to intercede even once. The 1st floor coverage is large and as I said before it has quite a few obstacles. It does take Zoomba about couple of times to charge before it can complete its cleaning all on its own. It's uncanny how life like it feels.

I hardly ever write reviews but I feel like I owe one to IRobot for a solid product. In short I am the perfect storm....200 year old house, on a dirt road, wood stove, 3 shedding dogs and 2 cats. If the roomba i3 can handle my house it can handle anything. All my dust bunny hair balls in the corners are gone. Definitely a great product. You will still need to do a occasional vacuum of rugs just to get the deep stuff but the the i3 on a daily run will make a HUGE difference. It is amazing how much dust is in the bag! Pay the extra for the self cleaning option. I borrowed a friends first that you had to empty yourself and I am VERY happy I opted for auto empty version. It is not silent but if you complain about a little noise then you are being a "Karen". Buy one today!!!
