It is a great alternative if you are looking for that grittier clean feeling, but the whitening is not as effective in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Arm&Hammer AdvanceWhite toothpaste left my teeth feeling smooth and clean which I really liked, but it has a weird taste. It’s also salty which I guess would be from the baking soda. I wish it was more minty. I haven’t noticed much in terms of whitening since I’ve only used it a few days. I would love it more if the taste was better.

I had an allergic reaction to ARM & HAMMER™ Advance White™ Extreme Whitening Toothpaste, which caused my lips and tongue to severely swell and my gums to be in pain for about 30 days. I visited three doctors, who did not know the cause but treated the symptoms. I did not discover the source of the swelling until I had not used this toothpaste for 34 days. I thought the reaction was caused by two other suspect products.

I used it for year until I realized it has very high levels of Fluoride it. "Keep out of reach of children under 6 years of age. If more than used for brushing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away. Ingredients Active ingredient - purpose: Sodium Fluoride 0.24% - Anticavity toothpaste."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never really found one toothpaste to be much different from the next, but I do like the freshness and experience of this one! The texture feels exfoliating, but not gritty. And the mint is a sweet mint, similar to the sweet mint chewing gum! Reminds me of Christmas. I might just be a convert to the full size! There’s a bit of tingling after, but not in a bad way.
