[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to rush my teeth after using this toothpaste with another toothpaste. The texture is fine, normal like any other. The taste is absolutely vile. I might as well have just mixed together baking soda and peroxide together while yelling mint from across the room. It went in the trash. Might be for some, not for me. My teeth looked yellowish after using. It’s a no for me.

I'm a dental hygienist and had colleague recommend thid profuct for patients with repeat heavy surface staining. I recommended it to several of my patients who have regular staining at their cleaning appointments. I have been amazed at the results! My patients are extremely happy with the results and my hands are happy with less work during their visits! Bravo, A & H!!!!!

I have always liked Arm and Hammer and decided to give this a try. I used it about two weeks and enjoyed the taste and how teeth felt and then it totally destroyed the inside of my lips and gums ! They started feeling raw and irritated and the next day my lips had completely swelled up and were all red and ulcerated., even the exterior of lips all dry and chapped.At first I thought was from another whitening toothpaste I had used, so I stopped both and used a paste I knew was fine, until my lips healed- it was so painful, hard to eat or have hot drinks- took about a week to heal. I then tried the arm and hammer just one day and my lips are all ulcerated and swollen again! There should be a warning about this as I am sure more people are having bad reaction to this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The price of the toothpaste is almost similar to the other brands the effectiveness we will come to know after using it for sometime, but definitely it do not create any sensitivity problem and the flavor is very strong, not everyone can possibly use this kind of flavor and smell of toothpaste. Overall the packaging was good and no issue.

I have used Arm & Hammer toothpastes before, but this particular product has proven disastrous for me. I am having an allergic reaction to it. Dry mouth, cracked corners of my mouth, swollen, chapped lips, numbness of my tongue. I have never had a problem with their other toothpastes before, but this one I am going to have to throw out.

I don’t know if this was just the batch I had or apart of the “stain prevention” but this toothpaste tasted salty. It somewhat made the toothpaste hard to use because it was just so salty. So if you are sensitive to salt taste maybe don’t get this one…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have given the Arm & Hammer Advanced White toothpaste a trial run for a few weeks now and I am impressed.The texture is just right,not to grainy but enough to feel like it is doing something.I love the taste as well,the baking soda just kinda lurks in the background as the mint blends in nicely giving you a fresh,cleansing feeling after brushing.Also I am a big fan of foaming as it feels like I am really scrubbing my teeth clean.The whitening aspect is on par but don't expect bright,pearly whites,but it will marginally lighten them up.Overall a big thumbs up on this toothpaste!!..Glad I got the 2 pack!!

Potentially I didn’t see a huge difference with whitening due to my coffee drinking, but I was hoping for more of a change. The minty smell, smells great and is long lasting. I think I had high expectations and it fell a little short. Maybe with a full size I would have seen a difference with my teeth.
