Absolutely terrible I would give it a zero star! The arm and hammer advanced whitening 3X messed my mouth completely up. I had to go to the emergency room. My lips swelled up and my tongue has cracks now, my mouth has been dried for two weeks so far and it doesn’t feel like it’s getting any better! My lips swelled up and inside my cheeks and lips completely dried out.

I used this toothpaste a few times, alternating with another brand for a couple weeks. I did not like the salty flavor but wanted the whitening effect to work so I started to use it daily. It was fine for a few weeks. Then about a week ago, I woke up with swollen and sore lips, cracks in the corners, I could feel canker sores starting in three places in my mouth and my inside off my mouth was dry and peeling. I used a different toothpaste for about two weeks. Then I used this product again and the symptoms all came back except now my tongue felt like it’s burned it really bad. The 1st inch of my tongue was swollen and red and painful. The corners are my lips were bad enough that I couldn’t open my mouth very wide. I researched and realized it’s definitely the toothpaste. That was the only thing that had changed and was the same as last time. Thank God, I rinse after I brush. I can’t even imagine how bad it would’ve been if I’m one of those people who do not rinse with water after brushing.

Last weekend on May 9th I used my husband's arm and hammer toothpaste and used it again May 10 along with chap stick. I noticed the morning of May 10th, when I woke up my lips were a little red and they were swollen. I thought it was one of my chapsticks low and behold I used my husband's arm and hammer toothpaste again this morning and my lips were getting the same allergic reaction they got last weekend. I'm glad I figured it out and now I know not to use this toothpaste again.

This product should be recalled. I used this product for two days. I woke up with my lips dry, cracked, swollen and burning. Sores on my tongue and in my mouth. I spent the day wondering what I ate or drank that was different until I remembered I started a new toothpaste. For this product to cause such a severe reaction is crazy.

I unfortunately had an allergic reaction, can barely open mouth for a week now because of how badly my lips reacted to this product. I noticed it would sting my lips everytime I brushed but I loved how my teeth felt. Then I woke up with inflamed lips that soon turned to sore corners of my mouth which I’m scared will scar. if possible would like a refund

Used twice, both times swollen lips, irritation inside my mouth and rash on my chin. I do not recommend. Taste wasn't great as well. Not a good product in my opinion.

Ive used these products in the past and have never had issues. Until now, the inside of my mouth is irritated and swollen. Lips are dried out and have sore in the corners of my mouth.

This stuff causes chemical burns on your bottom lip. I used it once. Toothpaste was on my bottom lip for maybe 2 minutes. The burn started immediately. I rinsed it off. All day my lip started hurting more and more and the skin got tighter and tighter. Now at the end of the day there are tiny bubbles along my lip line and a crust line forming. I'm having to use Vaseline and antibiotic ointment just to keep the pain at bay. This stuff SHOULD NOT be available on the market. It's CAUSTIC.

I used this toothpaste for the first time and took a few days before I realized what was causing my pain in my mouth. The inside of my cheeks were raw feeling, lips extremely dry and irritated. I had welps inside my cheeks and my gum were red. I don't recommend this toothpaste at all it has caused me a lot of pain and discomfort

Ive used arm & hammer for at least a year or two but the last tube I used was the advanced white and I started noticing my lips becoming very dry and chapped. A few days later I developed sores on my tongue and the corners of my mouth had split and were burning. I had a red itchy painful rash around my lips that looked like I had been licking my lips and I could not figure out what was causing it. I tried so many things and when I read that it could be the toothpaste I saw several other eerily similar reviews and immediately stopped the toothpaste. Im day 3 into stopping this product and my mouth is slowly healing. Im sure it isnt happening to everyone but it appears to be kinda common based on reviews so beware! This is the first time ive ever had this happen from toothpaste and I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy!
