What companion

I am. I was, and I believe, I always will be happy with Samsung Tv. my last Smart Tv lasted me 10 years I think, or close to that. However, one must remember that, as I am retired. I used to turn it on just for company. Then, it died. So, I bought another one. Thank you, Samsung, you are good viewing and good company.

Reliable tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv isn't the high version that everyone wants but it is still worth getting for a child or a college student. It has all the features a smart tv should have. The brightness of the screen is good but can be a little better. I do notice a small bleed between colors on the screen and not sure if that is normal. My future purchase is going to be an OLED version from Samsung so will make a review when I get that one.

Bad decision

It’s sometimes difficult to operate and the sound is not consistent. To goes up and down, appears that the volume increases excessively during commercials. I have had multiple Samsung TVs in the past that didn’t have this problem. I find it difficult to find the previous program I was watching if I changed to another app.

Connie: Thank you for choosing Samsung and for your feedback on the DU7200 TV. We understand sometimes there is a learning curve when you get a new TV! This is why we created step-by-step guides, to make it easier for you. To learn about your TV go to https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062199/. There are several volume features you can adjust, which may improve your audio experience. 1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume. 2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound. 3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode. Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again. We are also always available and happy to help you with any questions you may have. I bought this to use as a monitor for my Geochron

I bought the 55" Class Crystal UHD DU7200D to use primarily as a monitor connected to my Geochron Atlas 4k. It works very well for this purpose as well as a normal "Smart" TV. When first turned on it comes up on the channel selection screen and takes a minute or so to switch automatically to the HDMI input. I really wish the remote had a number keypad. I find it disappointing that TV manufactures are removing this simple feature.

Execllent TV for functionality and pix quality

Purchased 6 months ago, easy to install, excellent picture, good size for living room...attached external amp via optical. USB ports all work well, price is excellent for the functionality...remote took some getting used to but found how to use via UTube

Great TV, horrible remote

The TV is great, but I really dislike the remote. It's so thin and light it ends up falling off soft surfaces like the bed and couch. It doesn't have many buttons so you have to toggle through a lot to get somewhere. Our other two Samsung tvs have the same remotes now this one is totally different.

Samsung TV

I purchased this tv about 3months ago and thought I was having difficulty changing channels, looking at guide was just the “ learning curve”, but no! This has to b the most difficult tv made. When using “ guide” it races through channels , when selecting a channel manually it add numbers , have to exit and start over, etc…don’t try to switch between sports games quickly you cannot. ridiculous, several tried to use tv but have same issues, Too late to return to store- going to throw out.

Rating: 2/5 – Stay Away

I had high expectations when purchasing the Samsung 85” TV, but after months of use, I can confidently say this model has been a huge disappointment. Application Hub & Performance Issues The biggest frustration comes from the sluggish and unresponsive application hub. Navigating between apps feels unnecessarily slow, and the transition from the app hub to an actual app takes far longer than it should. For a premium TV, I expected smooth and seamless performance, but instead, I deal with lag and unresponsiveness that make even basic tasks frustrating. Severe Burn-In Problems The burn-in issue is by far the worst problem with this TV. I enjoy watching darker, high-contrast films, but after some use, the burn-in is so extreme that certain scenes are completely unwatchable. Blacks are inconsistent, and ghosting from previous images makes the viewing experience painful. I’ve already had the display replaced once, yet the problem persists—meaning this is either a widespread issue with this model or poor quality control from Samsung. Final Thoughts For the price, I expected much better performance, both in terms of smart features and display quality. Between the unbearably slow application hub and severe burn-in problems, I cannot recommend this TV to anyone looking for a premium viewing experience. Even after a display replacement, there has been no improvement, which makes it clear that this is a fundamental flaw in the design or manufacturing of this model.

Worst Interface / Menu system of any tv. Don't buy

Good picture but the most horrible and confusing user interface I have ever seen. If you want to spend hours trying to figure out how to add an app to your home screen or to remove all the spammy recommendations only to find out you can't then you might like this TV. All basic functions are buried in the worst menu system I have ever used. in any electronic device.

Satisfying first Samsung TV

My first ever Samsung TV. This fit nicely for the price, size and picture quality for a loft TV. The room is well lit but still picture is quite bright and contrast is good. Have watched some regular content but nothing to test it's display extremities , so far so good. Audio is loud enough but have my old Yamaha bar hooked in. Build seems to be a bit flimsy plastic feeling as I can feel the body slightly bend or budge while setting up the TV, so feels bit unsafe with a feeling that I might break it. Reduced a star coz of the flimsy feel with the remote and TV build quality. Have to see how long they hold compared to the build quality of my still running Sony from 14yrs ago.
