I was torn between this tv and the Sony X90cl. I ordered the Sony, but it was busted on delivery. Since I had to go back to the store I revisited the Mini LED Samsung and decided that I would like to go that route. The tv is great. Really pops with the right content. Great 4K @120HZ gaming. the 86 really fills my space and is so much more immersive than my 65 inch tv.

The colors are true and seamless. Black is a true black. And all this in my very bright room. I use a separate speaker system through eARC and it works perfectly although it does override the Samsung’s highly capable built-in sound effects. This is a great all around’er.

We have five Samsung TVs throughout the house and after comparing features and picture quality we are loyal! New tech is awesome, but a bit scary... Our new TV is larger, has a higher resolution and improved features. Space was limited by two built in bookcases and a cabinet with a granite top. The size choices that were available allowed us to get the perfect fit. The technology allowed us to use our existing Samsung sound bar. The install was a snap! Brights are bright and darks are dark just like they should be. There is a bit of a learning curve to some of the features, but we’ve navigated it all fairly well.

We have the TV set at a comfortable listening level, and suddenly the sound increases to a level 10 times higher. It is a blast of loud sound, and then it will go away. We have adjusted the sound level numerous times, and it just won't stop doing this blast of sound occasionally. We never know when it is coming or why? Maybe you all have a suggestion as to how to resolve this problem.
