Until you have the opportunity to compare picture quality, you assume yours is just fine. the new one is considerably sharper than the older one. We have 3 samsung tv's in our little house. We have five Samsung TVs throughout the house and after comparing features and picture quality we are loyal! New tech is awesome, but a bit scary... Our new TV is larger, has a higher resolution and improved features. Space was limited by two built in bookcases and a cabinet with a granite top. The size choices that were available allowed us to get the perfect fit. The technology allowed us to use our existing Samsung sound bar. The install was a snap! Sports and movies have never been better!

Since 15 years ago my parents see TV clearer and family with hearing issues hear TV clearer without TV volume on high, where family is yelling across house. Overall the Samsung TV last the color you see on day one coming from picture quality does not seem to dim or as I have heard it called (burned in to screen) it always is lovely and beautiful.

The remote took a little getting used to. Still after 3 months hit the wrong button. Settings allow many adjustments for color and audio. For instance, we adjusted color to accentuate golf course greens. Definitely would recommend for a friend.
