Have bought for many years, now for grandchildren at the store. Last two batches, peach version and mandarin oranges. Seemed ok at opening. Not broken open or leaking. But shortly, juice is darkened and fruit is darkened WAY before expiration date. Peaches and oranges separately had shredded fruit at the bottom. Tasted before giving to grandkids and the tasted fine but not giving them to the little ones. Will try smaller packages from grocery store.

Like another reviewer, I received these with a completely wet box. The individual cups leaked all over. Also, the oranges were always in tact. Now the cups have pieces of orange instead of whole orange. The taste is not the same (smoke taste) either. I've bought these for years. They were always top shelf but this is my last purchase.

the oranges were sweet, the natural fruit juice was excellent rather than the syrup.

The box says "packed in Thailand" but the individual cups say they are from China. I am trying to avoid food from China if possible.

I really like the Dole Mandarin oranges I think that it's perfect snack size and they are so good and juicy I love them they are one of my favorite go to snacks if I want something healthy and I love to pack them and my kids is lunch boxes because it's something that they love to eat too and I love that I can get them to eat something healthy if they enjoy

1. These are very hard to open and when they do open it sprays juice everywhere; on me, the table and floor. 2. I would like to know which fruit juices are used in the liquid. 3. I would like to know if sugar is added; if so, what kind of sugar. 4. This product is not as "sweet/tasty" as I was expecting. I think fresh mandarin oranges would be naturally sweeter.

I buy the Mandarin Oranges in it's own juice 12 pack regularly. My favorite snack when they are chilled. Lately the packs that I get don't have but one to 3 full Mandarin slices. The rest is just shredded. Of course I can't see the product because it is all packaged up, but isn't there a quality inspector that oversees the quality of your product? Also the packaging is a little hard to open. I am so disappointed that this has been the quality I've been getting lately. I'm not about wasting money, so since I don't enjoy eating pieces, I give it to the dogs as a sometimes snack. It really sucks that I have 2 boxes of Mandarin bits. I wish there was better quality assurance as this used to be my almost everyday snack. It's just disappointing and I don't like to waste my money on a subpar product.

Sometimes I’ll buy these and I’ll get nice, plump mandarin orange slices. Then other times, I’ll get basically shredded oranges that have very few actual slices. Frustrating when I buy a large box and can’t see the cups before I get home and open the box.

I Love all the Dole Products...and most are on constant rotation in our home to our family a 5. Ever since I was a young girl, Mandarin Oranges have been my absolute favorite out of all fruit, some right in our yard & hand picked...but whenever mandarins came into the house...mine all mine. So, when Dole had these in stores, I tried them...and now buy all the time. They are My Secret Bliss...that I only share with my granddaughter now!!

Mandarin Oranges in fruit juice - this should be so straight forward - fruit juice. I have been eating these for snacks randomly at lunchtime. I was having issues infrequently after lunch., I finally traced down that these were causing me to experience diarrhea, nausea, abdominal cramps/pain, I looked at the label and noticed that I there was an item that I had no idea what it was. I had to Google it - Acerola. WebMD says the following about side effects: Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps/pain, or heartburn may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. What is wrong with just fruit juice from the fruit itself? I check the label to ensure that there is no apple juice as I am deathly allergic to apples. Guess it will be real fruit for me from now on - what could you possibly do to that?
