I received this boning and utility knife set as a product tester. The handles are comfortable to hold, sturdy and not slippery. The weight is just about right; not too heavy & not too light. I didn't have a chance to use the boning knife yet, but used the utility knife to cut up pork belly to test for sharpness. It went through the meat and fat well, but didn't cut through the skin very well. I had to go over the skin 2, 3 times. Yes, pork skin can be tough. I like this set as an amateur. Frequent usage may not uphold the sharpness.

I have quite a collection of filleting knives and a nice set of knives in the kitchen, so I was hesitant with how good these value priced knives could be! I Did the flex test and they are stiff and ridgid, so you can rate that how you may! Flex in a knife is subjective to the task at hand but I like the stiffness in this case. Next I tested the grip in soap water and it was excellent! The rugged grip texture feels extreme when handling dry but when used in wet applications such as food prep or fish or game processing, this is a great feature. And Lastly I checked sharpness out of the package and it was able to slice paper without tearing! This is a solid set of knives! And for that price you can’t beat them!

The Members Mark Boning and Utility knives have a sturdy rubber handle that makes it easy to grip. The stainless steel blade easily cuts through vegetable and meat with ease. They are wash up very nice and are dishwasher safe but I hand washed them as recommended. These knives are larger than your typical kitchen knives but they are making cutting food much quicker.

This set of knives is a great addition to your kitchen. It has a very stable grip and is ideal to cut a variety of food. The blade is very sharp which makes it easy to cut. Additionally the rubber handle is perfect for stability while cutting. I am very satisfied with this product.

All signs point to a good value. Two knives for the price of one. It’s hard to say how long they will last, but for the price you can certainly replace them a few times over more expensive ones. They arrived sharp and ready to use. The grips are nice and will be easy to hold onto.

Wow are these knives sharp! I’ve used both knives in the set and they both cut through beautifully. The handles have a rubber grip which is both comfortable and keeps the knife from slipping out of your hand when cutting anything juicy that makes the handle wet. The box said handwashing is best but they are dishwasher safe. I use the dishwasher and they have been fine. The only thing I would suggest is having blade covers that come with them because they are sharp and it would keep from accidentally cutting yourself when reaching in the drawer for them. Don’t hesitate to try these knives, they are very nice!
