Home Theater

Product is easy to set up

My only complaint is with the Apps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Following a power outage, my ISP appeared to have trouble connecting to the SmartThings server, which caused all of my smart apps to stop functioning—except for Netflix, which continued to stream content without issue. Other apps, including YouTubeTV, Disney+, Prime Video, and YouTube, were all unresponsive. I spent several hours troubleshooting the issue: updating my router firmware, replacing Cat5e cables, performing a factory reset on the TV, and power cycling multiple devices. Despite these efforts, the problem persisted until the following day, when everything returned to normal. However, I had to completely rebuild my main TV menu as a result.

Our best investment in years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to splurge and buy a larger tv than we’d been watching ever. We were overwhelmed by the number of choices we were afforded by so many manufacturers about whom we had read articles. And, our final decision was based on the recommendations of our installer and tv guru. We art completely enjoying the larger screen, streaming, and now wonder why we waited so long to make the choice between our own tv and a brand new Samsung. We couldn’t be more impressed or happier with our choice!

Good yes but not smart…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still don’t know how to control my DirecTV. I tried several options to no avail. It should be smart enough to figure out from the incoming stream. When it was connected to HDMI 1, the TV (even Netflix) will not work unless the DirecTV is on though there is no relationship between the two. Or Netflix will only work for about an hour and turn off until we switch on DirectTV receiver. I have connected a Physical ethernet cable to the TV.

Happy Happy Happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a lot of research on this size and was a bit of a concern but the QLED in this great room turned out to be awesome. We have a lot of sunlight, by design that comes into this room at all times of the day. I notice that it will change the darks to light, and light to dark depending on the environment. Interesting. You have to play with the settings. However, once you dial them in, you will be impressed on it works. With that said, I have another 65" Samsung in my bedroom. It is an OLED. Also gets a lot of sunlight. I also recognize that streaming services and traditional cable services have different ways they show a movie or broadcast. I was watching a "streaming" movie in my bedroom on the 65" OLED. I could not see anything, it was dark. Played with the settings and not much changed. Went downstairs to the 85" and all was good. With that said, any other channel ups are bright and awesome. In closing, in my opinion it depends on what you are looking for. this 85" QLED is a great buy for a family room where you will watch the most. If you want to be a vampire and keep things dark, go with a smaller 65" OLED.

3 TVs we bought were easy to setup & user friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just bought 3 TVs. In our living room we have the 65" Qled we watch various shows & movies as a family. In my office I'll watch the news or work on my power point presentation. In our bed room my wife & I relax by watching TV in bed. These TVs have so many great features such as easy setup. It has great sound. You can't beat the picture quality we love it. Everything we watch is through our wifi. Connecting to the wifi was easy. Using mirror screen from my phone and computer has been seamless. I wish I had just one thing bad to say but I don't. Our family loves Samsung we own everything Samsung. Our phones, TVs, washer and dryer, computers, tablet you name it. We've had nothing but good luck with everything.

So Very Clear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always had at least one Samsung TV in our home. Over the past several years we have upgraded to larger flat screen TVs. Or latest is the 75" flat screen and it is a compleate joy to watch. The subject matters are crisp and clear and we see no distortion being on such a large screen. Our livingroom is not large,so we are not that far from the screen and still enjoy it immensely.

Nice TV but it has glitches

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I connect it to my Samsung Bluetooth sound tower and the TV constantly keeps dropping it and switching to TV sound. The TV sound is really terrible. No matter what we've tried it seems to be a glitch in the TV. I even went out and bought an optical cable to wire it directly and the TV still keeps doing it.
