I live in a small home so the smell of a litter box is definately noticeable if not controlled. I had tried various other brands, but this Fresh Step with Febreze is just amazing! I smell nothing at all, even if the litter box is full!!! Though it says extreme it is not an overpowering smell that would be harsh for my kitten and she really took to it as well!! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to eliminate any litter box odors that may linger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago. I keep 2 litter boxes and with regular scooping I went though it in about 2.5 weeks. One of my cats wound up with tapeworm so I was constantly keeping the boxes fresh and cleaned out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our cat has diabetes and therefore uses her litter box a lot. This is the only product that is able to clump well enough. It keeps odor to a minimum and now that the dust has been reduced, it is a lot better when pouring it into the litter box.

The absolute worst cat litter ever! On a whim I purchased the Fresh Step with Febreeze last week because I like Febreeze, and thought it might be better than adding baking soda to the regular Fresh Step litter I normally use. So Not! The urine seeps to the bottom of the box and clumps together into one big mass that can't be scooped out, and you actually have to find a tool to get it out. I am not holding this very bad purchase decision against regular Fresh Step that was always a perfectly fine product.

What happened? During the last few months the litter has completely changed. To empty the litter box has become an ordeal. The litter turns into a cement like texture that sticks to the sides and bottom of the box. I use a steel litter scooper and cannot move the litter without great difficulty. Used to love your litter. No more! I am changing brands.

We've been buying Fresh Step cat litter for years and have never had the amount of litter stick to our cats feed and be tracked everywhere. It end up on the bed upstairs and on the couch in the living room. In less than 24 hours of cleaning the floors there is a clear path of litter where the cat has walked after exiting his box. I don't know what Fresh Step has changed, but it's disappointing as we've never had this issue before.

Evil Kitty & Harley are both VERY fussy about their litter. It must have a great scent, be low in dust, and most importantly it must stay smelling fresh. Fresh Step Extreme Scented Litter meets all their requirements. Evil Kitty & Harley both give this 5 Stars.

I don't know what they use but it seems to clump harder that almost any other brand and controls odor much better than anything else I've tried. Dust is always an issue, but even that is lower than other brands I've used.

I am really pleased with how well this neutralizes odor. Also, the clumping capability of the product makes it a lot easier for daily cleaning. I am impressed how long it actually works. The dust truly keeps to a minimum, and my cats do very well with this. Very pleased.
