We love the Fresh Step Unscented Extreme liter with activated carbon. If you're someone that works hard to make sure that your home never smells like cat liter (and its contents), this liter is for you. The best example of the liter "working" to eliminate odor is when people come to your house for the first time, and don't realize you have indoor cats until they come out and say hi - not because the smell of cat urine greets them at the door.

I have multiple cats and I only have room for one cat litter box so I bought this brand of cat litter with Extreme scent. After a week of using, I could not smell urine or any other scents, just clean scent (among other scents around, i.e. candle, laundry smell and more). The urine clumps really well together with the litter, allowing for ease of scooping with little mess falling onto the floor. Before using this brand, after 2 days, the smell would be noticeable and I had to use a lot of scented candles to cover up the smell, even though I scoop out the waste daily. This is a truly fantastic product and I finally can rest knowing that I can welcome any friends over without worrying about the smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Fresh Step (multiple varieties) for 15+ years. I had two cats up until one passed this year. My remaining cat is about 20 pounds and I must say his BM's would make a Seahawks offensive lineman proud. I don't believe there is any litter on the market that can completely mask the odor he produces, but this Febreze Fresh Step does a good job. The Febreze 'flavors' are a nice upgrade over the original.

I only buy this product because my cat seems to like it better than any other litter I have tried, plus the Paw Points are a great added bonus program and incentive to keep me buying this product.My mom also uses this litter for her cat and loves it.

We have 7 cats and 5 litter boxes so we need a product that works, and keeps the house odor free. We actually have friends who don't know we have cats, since they're all shy around strangers and there's ZERO odor! We've tried other brands but Fresh Step is always the one we come back to, the others don't compare for odor control, clumping or quality, by a long shot.

I have been buying FreshStep for quite a while. The litter itself has always been good but the boxes were a bit much to handle. I really like the new pouches. I can leave the tray in my vehicle and take the individual pouches into our house two at a time. I have 3 litter boxes, two in one room and one in a different part of the house. The pouches make it easy to have litter in both locations.
