I've tried many litters and I've never found one that would take the smell out. Well, I saw this one and I'm in love! I have an adult cat and a kitten and the litter boxes are always full. This litter is amazing, it controls the smell. Most litters smell good at first, but this one covers the smell up! I'm completely satisfied that I have finally found the perfect litter for my furr babies

I like the fresh scent. As a matter of fact, I have noticed the fresh scent on my cats after they use their box. If I would change anything, it would be something to make the scent last longer. The Fresh Step that I used to use (extreme) is no longer carried at my store and the odor proofing seemed to last longer in my kitchen.

HOWEVER, the packaging is nightmarish, which is why I gave it three stars. Carrying it can be a (literal) pain (I understand nothing can be done about how much litter weighs, which I'm not complaining about) because the edges of the box are so sharp. It's also incredibly difficult to open; it usually takes me about five minutes because there's so much glue. If the packaging was changed (plastic tub with screw on lid?) I wouldn't think twice about giving it five stars. Please consider a packaging change, Fresh Step!

I would never consider buying another litter. This works great. My cats are shy and hide when other people are around. Fresh Step Extreme Scented Litter hides the odor so well most people dont even know that I have 2 cats. Also love the smell of Febreeze.

Its easy to scoop and there isnt any tracking from my cats unless they are in a playful mood. The price is very reasonable and is well worth evry penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy the Fresh Step Extreme 38 lb. box of cat liter every month and I love it. It smells great and you can't smell the liter box at all when you enter the room. I would recommend this product to any fresh step customer.

I have 2 cats and one of them I could not find litter that would clump for her. All other litters would leave a wet crumbly mess that I couldn't scoop out when I'd clean her litter box. Except this litter, it is the only one I've found that stays clumped well for her. The litter also tracks less and because it clumps so well we can go longer without needing to dump and add new litter.

Eliminates odors QUICKLY, powerfully, and entirely. Surprisingly low dust formula, so that my cat never smells overwhelmingly like I'm inhaling scented litter. If I use any different type of litter, I will hear my cat scratching/trying to cover up the smell for 10-15 mins to no avail; this is the only litter she feels clean and comfortable with. Also lasts an impressive amount of time & clumps well.

This is the best litter that is on the market. I have four cats & I used to have to keep the litter boxes in my bedroom. Gross. So I tried alot of different litters to control the odor. When finally found this I was very impressed. I could never smell the litter box at the end of my bed! Since then I have never been willing to use anything else.
