I have been using Fresh Step Extreme scented litter for a long time, and I can say that this product completely prevents any odor from emanating from my cats' litter boxes. I have two Maine Coons each with one litter box and Fresh Step is completely effective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a 14 lb box of the Fresh Step Extreme in the Mountain Spring scent. I have 3 cats in my home and we have 2 litter boxes. I scoop the litter every day and I only notice the smell if I am right next to the box. After I scoop and add the new litter there is no smell! There is a little dust but not so much that it is a problem. It clumps very nicely which is a plus for me!

I adopted two kitties in May and while researching the best litter to use, I came across Freshstep Extreme with Febreze. Febreze is already popular in our household so I was pretty confident we would be pleased with it. The litter isnt strongly scented but it is powerful enough to withstand the business of two cats. This is incredibly important because we currently have the litter tray in the living room due to the size of our apartment. We have had multiple people over who say “you have cats? It doesnt smell like you have cats”. We attribute that to cleaning the box daily and using this litter. The size you receive for the price is decent. I only took away one star because it says the litter is “dust free” but I have gotten many a face full of dust when changing the litter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased this new item about a month ago and the individual packages are lightweight and easy to handle. I had recently purchased a two-pack of 38 lb. bags and I could barely get them out of the car and into the house. This way I get the same amount but in easy to carry bags. I really like this new product and would suggest it to anyone who has trouble lifting heavy items.

I was using Arm & Hammer litter but we could still smell the litter boxes. So, I bought the giant box of Fresh Step and now we don't smell a thing. You wouldn't even know we have 2 cats. It's a bit dusty when pouring, but less so than other cat litters I have used.

I would never consider buying another litter. This works great. My cats are shy and hide when other people are around. Fresh Step Extreme Scented Litter hides the odor so well most people dont even know that I have 2 cats. Also love the smell of Febreeze.

I usually buy the multi-cat extra strength formula but it was sold out when I went to the store and got this one instead. It works really well it clumps well and masks all unpleasant smells just like the other one I usually use. It just comes down to what scent you prefer in the end.

We buy this litter consistently and exclusively now. We are in love with the odor control especially since the litter box is in our kitchen area. Half the time we forget we even have a litter box. The clumping is another key factor. No one likes when the litter falls apart while it is being scooped up. I have yet to have this happen. We are very pleased with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always used Fresh Step with every cat I've had....but the Fresh Step Extreme clumping cat littler with febreeze has got to be the best one yet! It does a great job of preventing Oder from urine and feces...My Pheonix is 8 1/2 months old...and him being a kitten, can really stink up the room...but this litter completely destroys the oder making it impossible for anyone to know that we have a cat. Extreme will be my go to litter from now on!
