We have a cat for the first time and have tried a couple other types of litter and this one is the best. It helps with the smell in a small apartment and it isn't too dusty which is good for allergies. Also Im a fan of the clumping because one litter would fall apart as soon as I tried to scoop it up.

Freshstep Extreme Scented cat litter with the power of Febreeze is a great product-we have several cats and there is never any foul litterbox odor with Freshstep Extreme. The convenience of the 38 lb. 4 pack can't be beat. I really like the ability to purchase a large quantity without having a lot of extra packaging. Definitely a two paws up!

But no, after a couple attempts of using the Febreze scented products, trying to figure out why my cat was sneezing and had watery eyes, switching out other products too, have figured out she's allergic to this product. May be fine for other cats, but not her. Now its getting hard to find Freshstep scoopable litter without the Febreze added :/

I've found over the years, since I first owned cats in 2002, that I prefer Fresh Step litter over all other litter brands. With multiple cats in our household, I enjoy the Extreme the best. The 10 days of freshness is pretty accurate. There is low dust, but I wish that the amount of tracking was less. It's must better than lightweight formula's, even though you don't get the lightweight benefit, but I really wish there was a way to reduce tracking more. The clumping is great - urine clumps together well unlike some other brands.

I have two cats and this really does the job. The lower dust is great - a noticeable difference. I had to replace a blower on my furnace and the furnace guy said it failed because it was from all the dust from the litter. The new formula seems to control the odor for longer. Lovin' it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this litter. I have several cats and people always tell me that they can't even tell that I have one. It is the best litter I've ever used and I have switched off on occasion to save money, but I go back to yours.

While this litter seems fine, I do still notice some odors, and was a little disappointed that the product didn't do better odor control (especially since I've always been happy with other Febreze products. I don't hate this product, but I'm not that impressed either.

I just bought this cat litter for my new kitten. He has a habit of making terrible odors with the other two types of cat litter that I've tried. His litter box is in my bedroom due to space and now I only smell febreze when he's in his box! I will never go back to another cat litter!

We've always used the regular unscented Fresh Step because our precious kitty (who's 10 years old this month) is a bit particular. We were worried if it had any scent to it, she wouldn't use it. Then, one day I went to buy some and the store didn't have anything but the Extreme scented with Febreze. We were totally out, so I had to risk it. Not only did she use the scented litter, we came home after being gone for a few hours and our 1,800+ sq foot house had an amazing smell to it. It's usually quite the opposite when there's a mystery smell...you're usually asking, "what's that horrible smell?" Not this time! We were asking, "what is that amazing smell?" Turns out, it was her litter box with the new litter! Now we won't buy anything different and I tell everyone I know who has cats about it!
