The other day my husband did the shopping and bought this product instead of my usual. The first time my cat used it, I tried to scoop and the litter was like concrete. With the clay litter I change it every Sunday and scoop throughout the week and it still looks fresh when I change it.

So far, Fresh Step is the best. I started using the Extreme when it first came out. I've found it keep the area fresher longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried all of the different types of litter and I always come back to freshstep. It is the best odor control cat litter I have ever used. I have four cats two litter boxes and I only use fresh step.

I only buy the Extreme with febreeze. When I had two cats you could never smell the kitty litter and did not have to change it as often because the clumps did not break off as much as other kitty litters. Now that I have one cat this litter lasts almost a whole month before having to dump it out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried every brand and type of litter from the cedar chips to crystals and have found the Fresh Step brand to be the best and the Extreme with Febreze to be the ultimate in cat litter. I have 3 cats that share 2 litter boxes and the smell is never a problem with this litter. I recommend the Fresh Step Extreme with Febreze to anyone with 1 or more indoor cats!

I have used Fresh Step for several years, and wouldn't use anything else. I have tried other litters, and always gone back to Fresh Step. We foster for our local no-kill shelter, and they do not use it, but we use it while we are fostering kittens & cats.

Having 3 cats , (especially with 2 being males) it is important that my litter controls odors, and this one does! I have been using fresh step for years, and every time the store is out and I have to buy something else I'm reminded how much better it works.

I've found over the years, since I first owned cats in 2002, that I prefer Fresh Step litter over all other litter brands. With multiple cats in our household, I enjoy the Extreme the best. The 10 days of freshness is pretty accurate. There is low dust, but I wish that the amount of tracking was less. It's must better than lightweight formula's, even though you don't get the lightweight benefit, but I really wish there was a way to reduce tracking more. The clumping is great - urine clumps together well unlike some other brands.
