[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 cats and 2 litterboxes and the Fresh Step Febreeze works so well at keeping the odor at bay. The original Fresh Step is so dusty (even though it claims it's 99% dust free), but the Febreeze formula is not.

I still need to clean the liter box right after my cat uses it or I can smell it throughout the entire house.

I purchased this once since my regular brand (without Febreze) was not in stock. Although I have used other Febreze products in my home in the past, I was not overly impressed with the "Febreze Extreme Scent". I feel like the regular Odor Eliminating or Multi-Cat litter does a better job at eliminating odors. Overall, I was still satisfied with the quality and wouldn't buy anything else besides Fresh Step products for my kitty!

HOWEVER, the packaging is nightmarish, which is why I gave it three stars. Carrying it can be a (literal) pain (I understand nothing can be done about how much litter weighs, which I'm not complaining about) because the edges of the box are so sharp. It's also incredibly difficult to open; it usually takes me about five minutes because there's so much glue. If the packaging was changed (plastic tub with screw on lid?) I wouldn't think twice about giving it five stars. Please consider a packaging change, Fresh Step!

Most cat owners worry that their friends may think their house smells of cat stuff. Possible because the homeowner has become accustomed to the smell. With Fresh Step, we don't have that worry, and have even asked our closer friends to tell us if they ever smell anything.

Crash step is the best litter I have ever tried and I have tried many. It doesn't even stick in THIER paws like some do. I would never switch. One 14lb box lasts a week for two cats with daily scooping. It's perfect.

I’ve used several different brands of cat litter. It clumps better than any of the other brands I’ve tried. I have three cats and you can’t smell the boxes. It’s also decently priced for how well it works compared to other brands in the same price range. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good, low-odor, clumping litter. Especially if you have multiple cats!
