I was using Arm & Hammer litter but we could still smell the litter boxes. So, I bought the giant box of Fresh Step and now we don't smell a thing. You wouldn't even know we have 2 cats. It's a bit dusty when pouring, but less so than other cat litters I have used.

I have 2 cats (4yr old brother and sister) and have used your brand Extreme almost from the beginning. After trying every other brand, Fresh Step Extreme was the only thing that worked to keep my house smelling free of that stereotypical "cat" smell, and I just didn't think anything could get any better!!! But then you guys went and did it!!!! You made your OWN PRODUCT even more amazing!!!!! The dust-up is reduced quite a bit, which is wonderful since both my litter boxes are in my kitchen; the clumping is even more efficient, both my babies seem to enjoy the litter that much more, and the smell of the litter is absolutely amazing!!!!! I had forgot to scoop out the litter boxes one day, making it a total of 3 days the boxes had been scooped...and when my best friend came over she didn't even know they hadn't been cleaned! There was absolutely no "cat" smell coming from the litter boxes!!!! I'm a disabled, single mom of 3 boys, so I need to save money where I can...but I'll gladly pay whatever I have to for your product...DEFINITELY one thing I WON'T be skimping out on!!!!! :D THANK YOU, Fresh Step, for making an already amazing product that much more amazing!!!!!!!!

I have tried other products but always come back to Fresh Step. I was searching for a low/no dust product and found one but it just didn't have the odor control that Fresh Step has. So I came back to find that Fresh Step no has a low dust product. So no more shopping around. I'm a Fresh Step customer for life. Great low dust, strong clumping and superior odor control. You have to try it. You'll be glad you did! And it's lightweight too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love ALL of the Fresh Step Litters available. This one with the Febreze is wonderful. I can't say that I would purchase this one over one of the others, as they all work amazingly well, but it IS remarkable!

I've been using fresh step for years, we have 4 cats with only 2 litter boxes! We never have a cat smell in the house, this and all fresh step products are amazing at keeping litter box always fresh! 1 thing only, I am concerned with dust when filling box!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like this new scented litter, as it has great odor control I did purchase the "lite" version which does weigh less (and is easier on my back). However, it did not clump quite as tightly as the "regular" Fresh Step. But, the odor control is great!

I am very pleased with this kitty litter. My current cat is the first indoor cat we've had and I have a thing about trying to ensure that we have the most unstinky litter box possible. I love that this litter both clumps and smells great. My girl seems to like it also. It keeps her clean and dry and the new Febreeze scent seems to not just mask any unpleasant smell, but to completely remove it. Give this litter a try and you won't be disappointed!

Both myself and my cat love this. It smells amazing and it clumps perfectly. I have the litter box in my bathroom and since I began using this litter, I haven't had to use an air freshener. The Febreze in it is just that potent. This does cost a bit more but well worth in the difference between the litters being the duration of odor control, Fresh Step lasting about a week longer and the clumping.

TOO MUCH DUST AND SCENT Maybe I am getting older, but I am finding it suddenly really difficult to scoop. Yes the litter clumps. But to our family it seems to turn into cement. And impossibly sticks to the litter pan. Maybe a tiny jack hammer would help. Unless I keep over 3 inches of litter in at all times, it is almost impossible to get out. I think that any claim of dust free or lower dust is really a joke. I prefer unscented litter. Even with Febreeze, my cats smell like a weird perfume. UGH We have been using Fresh Step for forever. maybe 20 years. It is probably come to a point where we will try different litters. I have tried the unscented clumping version that is the pet smart brand. It is cheaper and we like that. Otherwise it seems identical to Fresh Step. It clumps like cement and it is dusty. But at least we save some money and our cats do not smell like perfume.

I had previously been using the Extreme unscented and decided to give the one with Febreze a try. It had a very strong fragrance that made everything in my house that the cat touched smell like the litter. It seems very similar to the other scented litters. It seemed to make the litter box smell worse, quicker. I went back to the unscented and it works much better.
