This litter worked well at covering up odor, but did not put of a pleasant smell which is what I thought may be the case since 'Febreze' is advertised on the packaging. I feel it go the job done, but worked just the same as an unscented kind. However, Fresh Step brand is the best litter we have found!

I change my cat Pearl box once a week (7) days, and it still smells fresh as I had just put it in. so I tried to go another week so At 2 weeks the Febreze scent finally had dissipated . Love it and will continue using it

I hate to say, but this caused Grady to have a allergic reaction. he broke out not too long after we put this in his litter box. So a few trips later and we think we have taken care of it. it may have been coincidence that he got a skin infection, but the vet seemed to agree with my thinking.

Also it smells wonderful and the scent lasted longer than I thought it would. It is easy to clean and my cat didn't track it through my home like other brands.

I bought the Febreze Extreme low dust formula litter and love it! I was a bit worried about using a scented litter but my cat took to it without any problem. The low dust formula is another plus. Over the years, I have had 6 cats and have only used Fresh Step. It's the best!

I usually buy the Fresh Step Triple Action. The quality had changed on the Triple Action, so I picked up the Extreme to see if it was any better? The scent is nice but after a week the cat boxes begin to have that cheap litter smell? I have 4 cats and I have 4 X-large boxes that are scooped daily.
