[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat seems to like this litter. It works like the other litter that I have tried in the past. I got the incentive because I've been told since it isn't really good to get for cats. My cat didn't seem to mind a brand difference.

When we adopted our cat, I was adamant about getting a litter with good odor control but I did not want something that "Covered Up" odors with a scent or perfume. We scoured the cat aisles at our local pet store and decided to give Simply Unscented Litter a try. It was the perfect choice and we have not deviated since. I am very pleased with the odor control and there is no scent associated with the litter.

I tried this litter for the first time and I love it. It definitely creates less dust that others I've used, but the real draw for me is the no fragrance. I picked up one of the Febreeze litter before and after opening it, I took it right out to the garage where it still sits unused 6 months later. If you are sensitive to smells, definitely stick with the unscented formulas. While the lightweight formulas are easier to carry, I've discovered the regular weight ones create less litter kicked outside the box to clean up! I can't believe it took me 4 years to figure that out.

I was purchasing the litter in the yellow bag and was unhappy with its inability to cover a bad smell. This litter does the trick and I will gladly repurchase for this simple reason.

We are longtime users of Fresh Step at our house, but for a couple years we tried a variety of more natural litters [corn, etc]...we have been back with Fresh Step for quite some time and could not be happier with this Ultra Unscented version. Was never a big fan of the added Febreeze, so this is perfect. Great clumping and odor control without the added scent!

I was having problems with other cat litter brands over odor and manly low tracking. I had cat litter everywhere (even though the product said "low tracking"), so I started looking and decided to try Fresh Step and I'm so glad I did, so far it's the Best. Hardly any tracking and very good at controlling the odors. There is only one thing that could make it better, and that's bigger quanities, like a 40lbs would be Great. But very Happy with product. I needed to switch litters several months ago and did some research on what was available. I decided to switch back to FreshStep and selected Ultra Unscented to try as I was interested in finding out how well it controlled litter odors as marketed for the product. It works great. I have a multi cat household so I need a product that not only is easy to clean up but also controls odors from body waste and bacteria in the litter. The low dust feature is a plus. The last brand I used was marketed as low dust but I could still see billows of dust above the litter box when I changed or cleaned the litter. My cats are all the happier for the improvement in litter.

I regularly buy this litter because it has no fragrances and seems a bit healthier than many other clay litters out there. It does a pretty good job at masking scent, and my cats use the litter box with this litter in more than another box I rotate with other litters I test out. Makes solid clumps fast. I only noticed though that it does start smelling in about a week, even though I scoop twice a day. I have to end up using baking soda. Other than that its pretty good - minimal tracking too!

I've been using for a year now for five cats. Pros: Unscented so allergies are not at all effected, clumps well, cats are not turned away by smell of other cats using a box (I have four in the house). Cons: Box is heavy so I have it shipped from Amazon. Thus far price has been competitive.
