[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot stand any scented litters, and this Fresh Step unscented brand(like all their others) is excellent. No scent, keeps my cats poop smell at bay, and clumps well. Will continue to buy any Fresh Step unscented brands.

This litter is much better scent wise than many on the market with all the fragrances which are not healthy for our cats. That’s where I can give 4 stars. But if you need a litter that is dust free and won’t have your cat smelling like the litter box dust, this isn’t it. We loved the Freshstep ULTRA unscented that got discontinued that was unscented and VERY low dust.

I've been buying Fresh Step litter for years, and have been happy with most of the types I've purchased. I've tried most of the "special" litters - some are good, some (especially the scented ones) make me dizzy. So I returned to my "standby" - Fresh Step Simply Unscented. And I (and my two four legged girls) are all extremely happy. This litter does a great job, and usually I can get almost two weeks between litter box changes. So no muss, no fuss - Keep it simple and enjoy life. Your furry friends will thank you. Well, maybe they won't since they're cats. But they should!

I have bought Fresh Step for years and it was great. What happened!!!!!! It does not clump...( I had to check and make sure I bought clumping litter.) It leaves urine in a puddle at the bottom of the box. It is dusty and tracks all over the room. I have eight rescue kitties and it is a mess to deal with. When I pour it it is just grit. I am very disappointed because I always counted on Fresh Step

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the clumping capacity of this unscented litter, which is superior to every other brand I've tried. My kitty likes to scatter her litter, but this doesn't land far the pan. Very little tracking outside of the immediate litter box area.

We have used this litter for the past 7ish years, since our oldest cat was a kitten. (I believe it used to be ultra unscented before they switched to simply unscented). We never ever had a problem either smelling the litter or with the cat waste. The last few bags we purchased, I smell it in my house as soon as I walk in the door. It smells like dank cat pee in clay. Very disappointed!!

Regular Fresh Step User. Saw the "Low Dust" marking on the package and was anxious to try it out. I'm not complaining about the normal formula, but when pouring and sifting it looks like it's steaming as the dust cloud wafts out of the litter box and slowly coats everything sitting nearby. It's not excessive, just annoying. But then I debate how frequently to clean the litter box versus cat health versus odor versus dust cloud. Surprisingly, the "low dust" version was SIGNIFICANTLY less powdery during pouring and sifting. It's difficult to notice any fogging when moving the litter. This is a big improvement to an already great product. Separately, the Ultra Unscented was fragrance free which I prefer. To me the fragrances in litter are frustrating because I can't control their intensity so I would rather have none at all, and Ultra Unscented was a great solution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simply Unscented is a go-to option when it's time to switch around litter products in my multi-cat environment. The cats use their boxes per usual and I am glad, at times, to smell absolutely nothing! Unscented is a great choice.

I bought this litter after something changed with my pervious brand. Was very happy with it's performance, all was fine and now it's changed also! You would think they would test it before changing the formula. So dusty now my cats run from the box after using it.

I have been using Fresh Step for years in my two cat household. I have tried the scented varieties before, but my cats never seemed to like them - and neither did I. As far as I'm concerned, Fresh Step is the best cat litter available for preventing cat odors
