[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our cat lets us know after he's used his litter box--he wants it cleaned out immediately! So I don't have any issue with controlling odors. What matters to me is that the litter is unscented as as dust free as possible ... and that my cat likes it. This litter does all that! I really like when cleaning out the box, the waste doesn't fall apart before I can get in a trash bag--I don't have to vacuum every time after I clean the box!

Having a multi cat household, requires good odor control litter and I was not disappointed. It was easy to forget that the litter existed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great cat litter for keeping the litter box fresh and clean! I have two cats, an older adult and kitten. Initially, I purchased this litter a few years ago because my older cat has a history of urinary tract infections. I read that an unscented litter was best for this issue. Since then, he has had no other urinary issues. Although this litter is unscented, there is no odor from the litter box and low tracking.

I bought 42 lbs of the Ultra Unscented clumping litter just to find out that it is not as advertised. This litter is not unscented. It has a perfume smell to it. It may be less scented than the other formulas, but it is NOT unscented. I am very disappointed to have wasted my money, not to mention my time. I now have to make another trip to the store and spend more money to get a truly unscented litter. Fresh Step PLEASE rename this litter. Please do not change meaning of the word "unscented" for those that count on it meaning "no scent". You can use "low scent" or "naturally scented" or "lightly scented", but PLEASE do not call it "unscented".

If I could give 0 I would. My cat has a chronic respiratory thing and he’s been getting worse. The formula changed and it’s extremely dusty and no longer clumps but makes a sludgey pastey type pile of urine. I wish I found out sooner because I get it on auto ship through a company and first started using the new formula. I’ve been a customer probably for a decade. I will be searching for a new litter.

I'm so glad this Unscented litter is available. It is truly odor free and dust free - two great features! Please don't ever stop making unscented litter. But why is the box so thick? It is ridiculously hard to cut out the Paw Points code!! Please fix that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family has been using Fresh Step Unscented from day 1 which many years ago and still use it today. We have had nothing but great results from this product and will continue to use this for our cat(s).

We have 6 cats, yes 6! I have had multiple people come to my small single story house, who have said during the visit (as cats started to appear) they did not realize I had cats, because my house did not SMELL like cats. All of Fresh Step's unscented litters are excellent, but I think the Ultra Unscented may be the best of the bunch! The unscented litter won't put a shield of perfume in your house that screams, "I have cats & cat litter!" This litter stay clean a long time because it is an excellent clumping litter too!

Regular Fresh Step User. Saw the "Low Dust" marking on the package and was anxious to try it out. I'm not complaining about the normal formula, but when pouring and sifting it looks like it's steaming as the dust cloud wafts out of the litter box and slowly coats everything sitting nearby. It's not excessive, just annoying. But then I debate how frequently to clean the litter box versus cat health versus odor versus dust cloud. Surprisingly, the "low dust" version was SIGNIFICANTLY less powdery during pouring and sifting. It's difficult to notice any fogging when moving the litter. This is a big improvement to an already great product. Separately, the Ultra Unscented was fragrance free which I prefer. To me the fragrances in litter are frustrating because I can't control their intensity so I would rather have none at all, and Ultra Unscented was a great solution.

We have used the unscented low dust since it came out. My cats prefer the unscented fresh step and I like the low dust. it does a good job of controlling odor even though it is unscented. I wish they had an unscented no tracking, low dust formula
