Definitely not 99.8% dust free, packages usually not filled, I buy supposedly the 42lb. Lately has been extreme amount of dust that coats everything and is not the same quality as before wirh much higher price everywhere when you are able to find it, customer service not much help with issues been having lately and their rewards program is a joke, always did a reason to reject your receipts and I pay over a 100 a month on litter!!

So glad this litter is acceptable to my cats. It does a good job with clumping and the best part is that it is unscented! One of my cats has asthma so unscented is very I portent for me to use. As a Fresh Step purchaser for 20+ years, this is a great addition to the lineup. Wish more stores carried it.

Don't buy any scented stuff, or stuff with baking soda or whatever; Harry will not use it. Thank you for making this UNSCENTED product for us.

I've used Fresh Step Litter for a long time and have been totally satisfied with the product. All that changed with the new formulation. The clumps are heavy and have the consistency of cement, especially if stuck to the side or bottom of the litter box. The clumps break apart leaving small pieces behind. The litter sticks in the cats paws and scatters EVERYWHERE. It's like having sand all over the house! Sadly, I will be returning the 2 cases of litter that I just bought and replace them with a competitor's product. I sincerely hope your company will listen to the recent reviews and go back to the original formulation.

I love this unscented version and the new package. I’ve been using the regular big bag for years and it was ok, but carrying it from box to box was inconvenient and I didn’t have the unscented version. Unscented seems to have helped my cats to stop sneezing and no watery eyes. Maybe they are sensitive to the fragrances in the other flavors of litter.

This is the main type of litter we purchase and have found it to be the best for multiple cat households. (Until a couple months ago we had 3 cats in our home for many years).The unscented brand is the best. Our Vet informed us one of our cats was getting a rash/reaction when we switched to litter with Febreeze and it's not uncommon to have this issue. All of the research we have done says scented litter is for human preference but it's not the best for cats. Simple, works well and our cats favor this brand. The only downfall to this product is that it is very sturdy packaging and hard to breakdown/flatten for recycling purposes.

Just recently this formerly feral cat decided to move into my house within a week I had taken him to the vet for all of his shots and to get neutered. Then when I brought him home two days ago, I started training him with the litter box. I had started with a different litter that had been recommended by a store employee however even though it clumped well, I was having throat swelling and wheezing/breathing difficulties every time I got near the litter box or had to scoop. Last night I changed out the litter box to the fresh step unscented and I am no longer having throat swelling and breathing difficulties every time I scoop the walk near the litter box just after it has been used. This is such a huge difference and literally a life saver!

My girlfriend has sensory sensitivities so this unscented litter is amazing!! For me, I'm all about the low dust formula, the awesome clumping ability and the addition of the activated charcoal that helps eliminate all odors. We truly love this litter!!

I never went back to the more expensive (competitor's) product afterwards. The Ultra product keeps the odors down, and it works great with our auto-litter unit. Win-win!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot stand any scented litters, and this Fresh Step unscented brand(like all their others) is excellent. No scent, keeps my cats poop smell at bay, and clumps well. Will continue to buy any Fresh Step unscented brands.
