I HAVE FOUR CATS AND THIS LITTER IS LOW DUST NOT SCENTED AND THAT WORKS GREAT SINCE I HAVE A CAT WITH ASTHMA. IT WORKS SO WONDERFUL, I HAVE TWO JUMBO LITTER BOXES MADE BY CATIT WITH COVERS AND DOORS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LITTER OR ANY FRESH STEP LITTER PRODUCT SINCE HANDS DOWN IT IS THE BEST LITTER AVAILABLE ON THE MARKET. THANK YOU FRESH STEP FOR MAKING GREAT PRODUCTS THAT ARE SAFE FOR OUR CATS.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that it really doesn't have any smell. It also does a really good job of covering the kitty smell. Pretty much dustless, (no litter is totally) and the normal amount of tracking. Don't think that's something that can be avoided either. I have a two foot barrier on the doorway where their box is and when they jump over it, most of the litter says there. Also clumps very well.

Everything is wonderful about this litter but for the super strong perfumed fragrance. "Unscented" and "free from added fragrances" does not mean fragrance free. I can't deal with the scent unless I wear a mask while cleaning the box, and who wants to do that all the time? Fresh Step: your marketing for this product is misleading. Adding the word "added" to the labeling is a semantic-loophole. Can you make a fragrance free litter please?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh Step Ultra Unscented is the best litter out there. It does everything that it claims to do. I have 4 indoor/outdoor cats, so odor control is a must. It clumps tight, sometimes too tight (just kidding, it can never be too tight), controls odors very well, and doesn't dust up very much. The Unscented is awesome. It controls odors without all the perfumey smells, which in my opinion the scented litters aren't good for your cats anyways. Fresh Step Ulra Unscented...Great product. Won't buy anything else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to my allergies and my cat's tendency to sneeze after using other litter, I decided to try unscented Fresh Step. The Ultra Unscented Litter has the same great clumping and odor protection as I expected from Fresh Step with less dust and chemical smell. We no longer are sneezing from refilling, cleaning, or using the litter.

I have tried less expensive kitty litter options which resulted in one of my cats snubbing the box. Fresh Step unscented kitty litter is truly without scent. I tried another brand that was advertised as "unscented," but it actually had an unpleasant odor. If you or your kitties are sensitive to litter odors and you want a high quality litter which is truly unscented, I highly recommend Fresh Start.

I am very happy to be able to continue using my favorite litter, while not subjecting my kitties to perfumes and scents! I am not so sure they are good for cats, and since I prefer more natural products, it feels great to extend this to my three fur babies!

The lower dust formula and no added perfume is best for my cats. I have one with asthma, and also do fostering, so with multiple cats, there is more scratching in the pan. There are far fewer breathing irritants, and that's important to me and my cats!

This is currently my preferred litter of all of Fresh Step's selections. I have two cats with two giant litterboxes in a small apartment and it doesn't "smell like a cat" in my place. Excellent clumping litter with great odor control without being scented or dusty -- wouldn't have it any other way.

After having gone through several other litters, I finally settled on this Fresh Step UltraUnscented litter. My cats track litter all the time, and this has been the lowest tracking I've used. (Still tracks, but much less than with other litters.). I'll continue buying this litter.
