[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had several years between cats, and I dreaded the scented litter smell. Thrilled to find this amazing cat litter. My ignorant cat sitter failed to clean the box for two weeks once. Came home to a solid mass and but no smell! I was appalled at the state of the box, amazed at the lack of smell! Cannot rate this high enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried other clumping litters and find that Fresh Step works the best. And now that it has low dust, it is even better. I wish they would stop making scented litters. Studies show cats do NOT like scented litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only litter we'd ever use. We have our litterboxes in small areas and the scented litters become overwhelming. Thankfully, this litter works well enough that we don't need some floral scent to mask the smell.

The single 42 LB container (one flexible bag and not the plastic containers like shown) that was delivered is terrible because the original bag would not open after the zipper was opened and the plastic bag was sealed way to deep on the top and caused the whole bag to tear open and split apart below the zipper, thus the zipper recloseing was useless and also after the bag was torn actual edge opening was melted down together on approx. a 45 degree on both ends next to and just bellow the zipper ends. These were the ones I received delivered and on-line from Sam's Club.

I have 3 cats that all use the same litter box. Also we live in a one bedroom apt. I hate litters that have scents to them because they make my allergies/asthma worse, I feel like they bother the cats because cats have much stronger nose than humans and I hate how it mixes up with feces smell...anyways, this is unscented and it works great. Cons: transfers a lot to their paws and the rest of the apt and can be dusty depending on the box.

I always buy unscented Fresh Step, when I saw it had changed recently and was now low-dust, I was hoping for the best. I WAS NOT disappointed! This litter still clumps and scoops as well and not having as much litter dust is a bonus! I have 3 cats and the unscented works great ~won't change litter brands for anything!!

My Cat Shadow has a Cute but Very Sensitive Nose. So because of this I have had to try Many types of Litter. Yet I never had good Luck with Any. So my Shadow was still avoiding the litter box at All Costs. Not to mention when he had to finally Break down & use his box. He would sneeze every single time he started digging around in there like a crazy kitty. Since he has to do that every time he goes to do a #2/. On top of that he also has the habit of running down the hall doing Mach 10 as so as he finished his business like his it’s chasing him. Giving me the added Bonus of tracking litter from his box, to the hallway & every where else. I did some more research to see if I was ever going to be able to find a litter that wouldn’t make him sneeze & wouldn’t have any overpowering scent. Less tracking would also be Great but I didn’t see that happening & was more concerned for his health then me having to clean up some litter. After reading through multiple reviews. Fresh Step Ultra Unscented seemed to have all the qualities My Shadow would benefit from. After reading many peoples experience with using Fresh Step Ultra Unscented. It always seemed to come out on Top. I decided to try a small box since My Bad Luck in believing what every Litter Brand claimed on their Boxes. But NOT this time!! My cat would finally use as soon as he had to. Instead of sniffing around his box forever. Like hei was trying to find out where the awful smell was coming from. He can dig around as Much as he wants without sneezing or kicking up a dust cloud. I was also extremely impressed by the Low Dust Factor with Fresh Step Ultra litter. Every other litter I would try to get him to use would not only leave dust in his box but also leave a coating of dust on anything in its vicinity. I also received the Extra Bonus that I thought No Litter Brand could ever promise of it Not tracking as much as the other Brands. Fresh Step Ultra Unscented Litter was a total life saver. I’m much happier knowing that my Shadow’s cute little sensitive nose can finally be at rest. Also that he can finally use his litter box like a Normal Cat would..... besides the fact he still runs down the hall, at full speed. As if it’s chasing him... LOL

This is my absolute favorite litter!! My two girls share one litter box... and it NEVER stinks when I use Fresh Step!!! I have tried other litters and they make my yellow tabby's tear ducks gunk up... this is the only litter that doesn't do that! It is also very easy to scoop!

I had been using the Breeze system with the pads and pellets and I am not sure if the formula changed or my cat's urine is just too strong for that system, but it did not work for me at all. There was a continuous odour and it was very unpleasant. I switched to Fresh Step and I'm glad I did! This litter is very fine, so I'm thinking it's probably much better on my cat's feet. This litter does not stick to her and clumps fine. There is absolutely no odour which is a huge plus. My cat seems happier as well, so that is what's important.
